I always loved the "Shields up, iron breakers" and never felt alienated. Even if I didn't know where it came from. I do love my shields though. And I have never thought you were saying arm breakers.

Same, ive allways heard Iron breakers and between that the mini Ruri and thought Iron breakers was a super heavily armored soldier. Maybe never had a problem understanding cuz im from spain idk XD

Well damn it. I can say that not once did I ever think Rurikhan was say "Arm Breakers" I always heard "Iron Breakers". BUT NOW you've unintentionally made me aware of this apparently common misconception and I CAN'T UNHEAR IT.

My favorite part of this episode is you two reflecting on your friendships coming up anniversary. And it’s kind of sad the tales of series went from good intention single player long rpgs with optional multiplayer to having dlc cosmetic outfits with unlockable abilities and exp boosters, along with no multiplayer anymore

On the topic of Joycon/pro controller quality control. I've been lucky enough to be without issue through my Switch's lifespan. However, that is probably due to me having bought alternate joycons to swap out and use over time as to kind of "spread out" the wear and tear on the controllers.

I genuinely never heard "armbreaker", even before I knew what it was. I just assumed it was some fantasy class. They talk about PC building being like Lego. And then there's me who just damn near broke his fingers trying to replace a faulty PSU because the pin cables with their sharp edges were stuck. VERY reminiscent of legos indeed. I dread the day I need to take it apart again.

For anyone having pro controller drift. The accelerator inside has a green tab that holds a ring. You can pop it open and clean the inside of the tab with 90% alcohol. If you have old ds3/4 or xbox controllers you can open those up and take the rings to replace the ones in the pro controller. I've done that 3 times already and still have my original pro controller that I got when I bought my switch.

the way you guys talk about soul sacrifice makes me want to play it so bad!!!! I don't have a Vita and don't want to get another system, I already have PS5, Switch, and PC. If we could get it ported or remastered or whatever on one of those systems I'd be 100% down to donate for the cause!!!!!!

For all Switch Players that don't like the Controller !!! There is an amazing USB Adapter you can use to play with your Xbox or Playstation Pad on the switch !! No input lag or anything ;> you can even use it on ps3 or pc too !! Was 18 Euro for me wich is like 21 Usd

53:00 At least I did fix my Drift for the Breath of the Wild controller. I have a kit to open controllers (not the joycons) and I only have to look it over for the right stick and not replace it and it got fixed on its own just by opening, moving it and then close it.

As someone who's been there in several situations, I agree with Gaijin with the whole challenge and misunderstandings between interpretation and translation Also, "Shields Up Arm Breakers" is hardcore and awesome 😂 even though I never knew the origin for Iron Breakers, it's an awesome intro and worth keeping

I always associated the iron breaker intro with MH shield weapons, ya know, cuz I play SnS, CB, and Gunlance. I thought the intro came from Ruri being a Gunlance Grandmaster. Like how Arekkz is an SnS Ace.

It’s funny because long sword in 4U/4G is arguably the shitest weapon right next to switch axe. I even dare to say, gunlance is more powerful than long sword in 4U/4G.

It's funny how your talking about sonny products having short lifespans when my Playstation 2 has lasted for over 20 years and had 0 issues, while my Xbox one which is around 6 years old and my Nintendo Switch which is around 1 and a half years old gave both had some issues

Holy crap, I thought my pro controller was the only one where the left stick "flicks" in the opposite direction when I let go of it, still have no drifting issues with my pro controller nor joycons, but the flicking is so annoying
