If you want weight loss, better blood sugar control, and reduced inflammation in your body, then listen to this video. Intermittent fasting is eating within a certain time period, and fasting for a time period. It is not a fad diet and you get to eat normal food. The key is eating within a set time frame. I fast for 16 hours and eat within an 8 hour window. I still eat 3 meals, or 2 large meals and a snack. But my body has time to heal and control blood sugar during a fasting state.

Wow, Caren!! That is so wonderful for you! I am so glad you took the time to comment. It makes me so happy to hear of others success. It is truly a lifestyle and once I got the hang of it and wasn't hungry in the morning anymore, it is not hard to maintain.. Plus I don't feel like I am deprived.

Hey Sandy... I used your idea of fasting and keto plan to loss weight. I lost over 40 lbs in the passed 10 weeks. I trying to fast for over 16 hours and up to 48 hours 🙃 😮😊😊😊😅😅 Thanks for sharing your information!

Wow, Tim!! 40 pounds is amazing! You have to feel so much better too. You can totally do this lifestyle and keep the weight off. I have never done anything over 24 hours. But I found out the 24 hours really wasn't that hard as long as I stayed busy that day.

Thank you Sandy for this video. You have really motivated me to make changes it my lifestyle and eating pattern. This is something I’ve being looking into for awhile and the hardest step is making the change. Procrastination is a terrible thing especially when you know you need to do it. I loved your video on meal ideas and how the balanced plate works too.

I've done 16-8 for 18 months. 50+ lbs down. I can't see me ever going back to my old lifestyle. I'm currently not trying to lose, I'm working on staying at this weight.

Wow, that is fantastic!! Doesn't it feel so good to drop the weight, but also the inflammation and be able to maintain by the lifestyle rather than diets trying to figure out what to eat all the time.

Love this video Sandy! We love Real Salt as well! We make our own electrolyte powder as well! I really like LMNT in watermelon or citrus salt flavors!

I really like the LMNT raspberry flavor. But, I have found I dont need it anymore after drinking salt water everyday.

Hello! Black coffee is completely fine! It is when additives start getting added that it doesn't work. "Or at least until I switched to a clean fast of only having plain water, plain black coffee or plain green or black tea is when I started losing weight. When I was adding honey, milk or sweetener in, even if it says zero calories, that my body viewed it as food and started producing insulin.

Last April I learned about fasting. So I tried it. By August I had lost 24lbs and became really discouraged because I thought I should’ve lost more. This always hangs me up thinking I should have lost more😵‍💫 I even drank the lemon/vinegar/cinnamon water. By September I gave up. I need to get started again because there were very clear signs it was working. I was less puffy and my waistline went down. I just get discouraged really easily.

Well, you're not the only one, Heidi. I believe when we lose weight slower, it is more sustainable long term to keep it off. You can do this! You know you can because you did it before. Let me encourage you to start again.

Keep up the intermittent fasting BUT….do not drink lemon, cinnamon, or ACV water during the fasting window! Only black coffee, plain tea or plain, straight water. No flavorings of any kind. Best wishes and hang in there!

My biggest hurdle is my morning coffee, thae fasting part i can do 18-20 hours, but with my coffe with sweetened creamer, im not really fasting

Are you losing weight with adding the creamer? Some bodies still do ok with additives. Mine did not. If it isn't an issue for you and you're feeling good and losing weight, if that is your goal, then keep using the creamer.

SANDY...many women are losing too much weight ..just be happy who God made you to be.. Exercise and good nutrition is good...but let's try to volunteer and do some helpful things...spend time with kids.. play with pets...be Happy Don't worry be Happy... Take care

Hello!! I do love myself and am a very happy person, but I also know that I am more comfortable in my clothes when I weigh less. I believe God wants us to take care of the temple he made and being healthy and not overweight is part of that for me. I so appreciate you watching!
