Chukkas are an ankle boot with 2-3 eyelets and laces. The chukka always has a lacing system, tongue, and with different options. In comparison, Chelsea boot has a clean aesthetic with elastic instead of laces. Thursday chukkas are great all weather boot with a rubberized sole and stitching. Thursday Boots also have impressive attention to detail including the stitching which is an indicator of higher quality. The price point for the quality of Thursday Boots is awesome!

I disagree about the chukka. They're awkward. With those flat soles that dont elevate (literally). They're ankle boots that don't actually raise your ankle lmao. Just stick with Chelsea's if you had to pick between the two.

Jorge Everyone has their own taste and opinions it's up to the individual, myself I like both styles. I like chukka boots as well as chukka skate shoes, also like Chelsea and many other styles of boots. We come in all shapes and sizes as ppl and have different lifestyles, what might be good for one individual may not work for another or vise versa. Your entitled to like or dislike as you choose either way I will not change my choices in footwear because someone else disagrees. All the best brother.

I really think the leather boot + flat tennis shoe sole look is going to take over. I’ve been seeing more and more men from different backgrounds wearing them. They give you tennishoe grip in boot form. And look much better with casual outfits. I have some Johnston & Murphy’s in this style and I cannot wear them without getting compliments

Yea, wedge soles have been pretty popular. If you look into moc toe boots, you can see how popular in the US it has been for workers, but now a lot of people are taking boot silhouettes and making sneakers soles with them like Cole Haan and Johnston & Murphy.

I'm sure the Thursday desert boots are a fine product, but I've been wearing Clarks since 1965 when I was 10, and still do. Never had a problem with Clarks as far as quality goes, and while they don't exactly give them away, the price isn't that outrageous. I need a more compelling reason other than price and quality to try another brand.

You really can’t go wrong with Clark’s, and honestly I don’t think Thursdays are even trying to compete with the legacy brand. They are cheaper, and the quality mirrors that. If you can afford Clark’s there is no reason to get Thursdays. I’m not bashing Thursdays, I prefer them myself, just realistically Clark’s are a level up that I don’t feel the need to own, and I totally respect those who do wear them.

No I've contacted the company. It runs a full size too big. In their lace up equivalent, you should get a 1/2 size smaller to fit you. This has to do with the lacing system. Since chelsea boots / chukka have no laces/2 laces holes, it's difficult to have a tight fit if you can't lace them up properly

The difference is in the quality of the leather / suede and the welt. A better quality will last decades when good year welted because you can resole them. With that said, Thursdays aren't the pinnacle for quality. They are a mid range at best. If you think 250 is bad don't bother looking at real quality boots. You will end up in the 400 range but they will last for 10s of years instead of one season at best.

Daniel B $200 and under is considered affordable when it comes to boots and dress shoes. These boots will cost you 300-500 anywhere else. The quality A+, comfort A+, aesthetics A+, pricing A+, customer service A++++, shipping is free and takes barely any time its fucking amazing. I sound like im promoting the company lol, i just love my boots cant wait to buy more from them. I dont even waiste my time trying out other companies

Whoever wants to, please comment on the following: 1) Do you think $200 is affordable for these boots? 2) Do you currently have other pairs of boots? 3) What kinda job/salary do you have? 4) Where do you live? My point in asking is to show what the demographic is of the people who would buy these boots. I wouldn't consider myself to be part of their target audience. I just wonder where Alpha's viewers stand demographically in relation to his promotions and if it’s worth the effort in targeting us with these promotions. Where he screws up is how everything cost so much, and your typical teenage boy wouldn't spend $200 on shoes that kind of look girly because they're supposed to be seen it's over masculine, so they're probably going to buy Jordans which is well worth $200 because Jordans never lose their value unlike these shoes that you can probably get an exact copy at Walmart for $20, it's not like anyone knows high-class Brands other than Oxford😂 anything over $100 shouldn't be considered affordable

i have to Thank you alpha..i 'm from Canada always watch your videos and finally caved and bought a pair of Captains last month was so impressed i ordered a pair of diplomats and dress shoes the next week .lol..chelsea tan boot is next..thinking it would be a pain to get them up here but within a week they were at my door .Thank your buddies from Thursday boots for making a Great quality shoe...at a great price by the way...Thanks again Alpha keep up the great videos..

I treated my suede chukka boots and the color got darker. But they still look brand new. I prefer my chukka with the rubber gum sole, they feel alot better and distribute the impact of step better than updated soles.

What your doing is great, full of great ideas. The one thing that I'm always left saying is, " where did he find that sweater or jeans. The belts seen them here, shoes sometime here. This was a total great look that I would like to have. Would it be to much to ask if give tips on maybe where to find all that is worn in posts such as this. Keep killin it!!!
