How will God tell you not to date someone? Sometimes, the lack of clarity actually is a sign that God is clearly telling you not to date someone. When God wants you with someone, he will make that clear. If the clarity never comes, it means God never wants you with that person. Here's four points to help explain this idea further.

If they want to date you, they'll make it happen. If they don't make it easy for you, they don't really like you. They just don't want to hurt your feelings by telling you they don't like you that way. Remember when they say "I'm not ready for a relationship or ready to date right now," the "with you" is silent

I have a boyfriend of 7 months and I’ve prayed the prayer before that goes something like “ if he’s not for me remove him from my life” and nothing has happened I will say that we do have altercations but we do fix it and want a future and life together, they do believe in god and they have a good heart, we do argue, but we do fix it because we love eachother. And we forgive each other, I think the only problem in our relationship is communication and we are working on that to and it’s gotten relatively better. So how do I know if he’s the one?

It is tough for me to accept this, But I was also the person playing games and hurting others, I have realized that every example applies to me, even if in most cases I was trying to avoid hurting the other person, is still a lie, and that is even worse. I truly repented and pray to GOD for him and the people I hurt to forgive me.

Just a few weeks ago, I literally went through #1 (couldn't get a clear answer/direction after I had prayed over somebody I was dating...) and #2 (had a persistent ambiguity about making a step forward); then we had to discuss it and decided to stop the process... I didn't need 4 tips on not to date. Every woman I asked out said no directly or no after a few "dates". I knew almost from the start that nothing was going to happen, and I was right!

Excellent advice! Praise God for giving you this wisdom! I've given people way too much credit in life, thinking they're busy with their lives or what not. But the bottom line is if they like you, they will roll out the red carpet. Otherwise, move on and find somebody better

Yes, look for that clarity but if it doesn't come in a wise/appropriate amount of time, consider the confusion a sign that's not meant to be. God will bring clarity when he wants you with someone, so if the clarity never comes it means he doesn't want you with that person

What if you both like each other but, one (Me) feels like God is saying no.. After several cycles of telling this guy I felt life the lord is saying no and closing the door and reopening it I finally blocked him.. Because Im not strong enough to keep it closed and just remain friends.

Yes, if you feel God said no, then just obey and don't play with fire. No need to be friends. You don't need to be enemies, but it doesn't sound like you are looking for a great guy friend :) Sounds like you want a godly relationship

I prayed to God to reveal any signs that I shouldn’t give him a chance. During the phone call, everything went great until he mentioned he’s a Muslim after I asked if he attends church…

I met a girl at church, introduced myself to her, and asked for her number and she said I’d have to ask her dad permission for that. So I got her instagram instead. Well she never accepted my follow request even tho she literally typed it in on my phone. She ended up blocking me but I have a feeling her dad made her do that. This Sunday ima try to meet her dad and ask for permission the right way. It’s my last chance with this beautiful girl. I just which God would answer my prayers clearly but he works in mysterious ways so just gotta trust him

It is GUTLESS in the extreme NOT to explain yourself clearly to someone who wants you but whom you do not want. Hurting them is not it. You are giving them the truth.

I finally found a woman that I feel certain about. We share views and morals, as well as core values in a relationship. Specifically respect and love. I love her so much, and she’s amazing. I’m 22, and I’ve been single for 10 years, constantly wishing to have someone to love, and be loved by… and as of 2 weeks ago, I’m in love. And I’m physically more positive and thankful to God for answering my prayers. Trust the Lord with all your heart. I will never lose my faith in Jesus. Not even for the world.

Hi Mark, for point 1… Been praying for clarity of my feelings and for my doubts to be removed, no answer until I decided ok I do want to marry this person and from now on I will trust him completely. Few weeks later we met up and I told him my decision, but he asked to end things instead… Does this counted as a “no” too? A little inconsistency of words and deeds (point 4) was there, but no silence (point 3) or ambiguity (point 2) included. He was very straightforward pursuing and stating his intentions to marry me.

I see… I understand, even though I couldn’t accept it at first, why did he have to end it now, after I finally have no doubt, not when I still have doubt, with the very same reason I used to asked him (“if our family keeps fighting like this, how will we get married?”, with the answer “let’s not talk about it/talk about it later okay?” every single time), he asked to end things because “our family keeps fighting, what kind of relationship can we make?” I have accepted that it is for the best, God knows more than I do, His plan is the best for me. We like each other but I left a relationship not too long ago but I still need time to heal completely before dating again. I’ve made him know this and he doesn’t mind. He’s a Christian but he hasn’t been at the best place because he currently doesn’t have a church because he changed location. Even if I heal, I’m worried that his current spiritual state might be an issue though he’s a very solid guy and feelings are mutual. Should I just walk away or give grace? I don’t want to lose someone again after investing time, effort and emotions.

My advice is not to date if you know you are not ready and only date people who are ready right now. No one is perfect but never date on potential. Assess people for who they are now, not who they could be one day

Wait for a bit, but not too long. It takes wisdom. Waiting is needed sometimes but God won’t have you wait forever. If it’s going to happen one day it will actually happen. In my view, months of waiting is wise, years of waiting is not wise

I love your work ,but these signs are used by secular word . I feel a lot of familiarity. And just using Bible to fact it rather than have word confirming it. Start at spirit and end it with spirit in your relationship. Some times you may need to hv warfare. Righteous walk by faith and Faith is in spirit.
