Malcom X on the other hand was saying I will not meet you half way, I’m going to take my rights and defend myself wether you like it or not and white Americans don’t like this unless they are the ones doing the bidding.

George Robinson you make the classical logical fallacy of Ad Hominem! You can’t dismiss a presentation of an argument/reason on the basis of the one’s character or history. All you could say is that one hasn’t experienced the suffering in question. But one can surely give an account of their suffering, and how they felt about it. You can gather those data and still make an informed decision. Otherwise... what’s the point in ranting out about suffering? No one can sympathize, thus no one would be interested in your cause.

@simondilling5353
@simondilling5353 4 жыл бұрын
@@RakimMuhammad13 That is not accurate. The Vietnam war criticism from King was on behalf of black people just like it was when Muhammad Ali. It was about keeping black people out of the white man's army. King did so much more than to speak at rallies. If you truly study King's efforts 1957-1968 that becomes very clear Malcolm X would tell you the same. Malcolm came to Selma to support King. He said that if they didn't release King from prison they would have to deal with Malcolm's organisation. Even before 1965 Malcolm supported King behind the scene. A government does not make a man an enemy of the state and then assassinate him just for speaking at rallies.

It is a terrible question. Horrible horrible question. So poorly framed. People always asked him about MLK and he would say, we want the same things for our people and if his methods work, I can live with that Malcolm was blunt, if you kill me I should be able to kill you too. MLK was more trying to be patient and to shame the slavers into honouring their promises So both. But I like the way Malcolm thought and spoke.. We don't have to wait for white people to recognise and respect us. We respect ourselves. And if we are equal, you kill one of ours we have the right to kill you too.. No turning the other cheek, unless you are turning the other cheek too..

Who does she think she is to critic either one of our black liberators? She insults MLK for breaking UNJUST laws, insults Malik for just being a bunch of mouth. I dare you to have let them both live and see just how much talk they both were. Because Malik had already taken his fight to an international level. He was getting all the African countries involved in the fight. Whites know beyond a shadow of a doubt that when we finally come together as a people it's over for them. Look at all the African nations fighting against mass immunization and harmful vaccines. Self defense is escalating, let's see if they pick up where Malik and MLK left off.

The Black Panther leaders asked MLK to be more aggressive because his strategy was taking too long and white people felt no need to trouble the status quo. Consequently, his stance started shifting toward a more radical approach, fustigating the Vietnam war, the misuse of technology, consumerism, etc. Now, we cannot reproach MLK for what he stood for since he was a pastor before being a revolutionary. It could well be that he thought about how the government would retaliate against the Blacks who would be engaged in aggressive protest, knowing what they were already doing against them in time of peace. I believe he tried to limit the number of dead.

Could this question divide Black Americans ? I say, let's accept them both for their courage, determination, vision and open refusal for continuing bowing down to brutality and being called boy.

Who wrote this title.... Batman?? People aren't citizens the same as they're not consumers, tax payers, constituents or collateral damage. People who even think in these terms disgust me.

Ok I done read and seen enough let me bring some truth and balance to this conversation both are universally known icons that died for their cause and their people I see a lot of bias and ignorant comments on this complex discussion but if you thoroughly look at things Martin ideology and philosophy was superior to Malcolm ideology and philosophy because it avoided bloodshed in accordance to his religious belief (he was a Christian), nevertheless Malcolm X had answers and solutions to many of our problems that can't be overlooked and looked down on because he was a brilliant highly intelligent experienced man.In my opinion they were both wonderful and warriors for our people.

Martin because he would NOT fight back. He would just sing a song and hope his tears and wounds would shame you into respecting him as a human being. We see how that has worked out for one side.

Just speculation but had MLK lived and had not LBJ signed the civil rights act I think he would have eventually moved toward advocating a violent revolution. MLK was more of a politician in his lifetime and as I far as I can tell his methods were more effective.
