What a complete waste of a potential wife and mother. I'm 53 and when I was 36, a woman I was chasing ( she was 34 ) at this gov't job I had ( she had a PhD in Romance languages... LOL ), finally agreed to join me for a coffee date. She was aggressive with questions like: where I went school, what degree I had, what did I value etc. I said, I didn't go to college or Uni because my dad died when I was 16 and my mom was messed up and abusive, so I left home and learned to fend for myself. Then she said, ' what a waste of potential.' 10 years later, I was in a different career, making 78K ( compared to 49k in the gov't job ), and I happened to bump into her at a Starbucks. I discovered that she had no luck finding a husband... " men just pump and dump me " she said in a euphemistic way. She had bought a condo a few years back, now owned a cat and was waiting for her man to come to her. I said, " I had no control over the death of my father or the abuse from my mom, and had to deal with the cards dealt to me, but, you could have married at a younger age and instead chose to get a PhD, buy a condo and a dog, and allowed many men to use your P-sleeve without getting some kinda commitment..." " What are you trying to say ?" she asked interrupting me. " What a waste of potential." I said. Then I took my coffee and left.

You are delusional. Nothing is going to change. It will be decades before all the damage that was done by feminism is undone. When these women finally age and pass on their failures to the next gen, then change will occur. Until then everything will continue and the new crop of females will continue to make the same errors. And that is IF these women accept their mistakes and the short falls. Chances are they won't. They will just double down and blame men.

A 40 year-old deluded, self-possessed woman. I have a medical degree from my native country and an MBA here in the US. I picked my wife when I saw the girl working doubles at a nursing home to help her mother deal with cancer. At 23 she told me "...for my mother I will do whatever I have to do. How I feel has nothing to do with anything..." We were married in a year. Some 25 years later and six children, all married, she works with me now that all the kids are gone. But as a Hispanic woman, she was raised to be a wife and a mother. What I value about her is her dedication, strength, courage, her love and attention for me. My intellectual reach is flexed outside in the world. When I get home she has a palace ready for me. No clever conversation, just peace. RIP Godfather and thank you for surfacing the truth to a generation that is lost and without a rudder.

I am the chick working a little ole office job, then going home to my factory worker husband. At times I can be ungrateful, but listening to these shows makes me appreciate my husband and my life sooooo much more. I live in a double wide trailer, but I'm not alone. My husband is a great guy, who I know loves me too. I have everything I need, and sometimes just things I want. I couldn't ask for more honestly.

Ok hear me out: in my country (India) we have matrimonial websites, newspaper ads, official matchmakers and etc. Whole families get involved, it's something as organized as tinder but for people who want to get married and have a family. she just drank too much of the cultural KOOLAID. dont let TV or the government raised your kids.. The highest fertility rate growth is in women in the 40's+ having babies. because "ME, CAREER" was ahead of "Family or Marriage or LOVE". they believe everything in "get a career". -- people (men & women) want to start the clock at the top of the mountain at 50 years old. when they wake up and realized time is running short. this is more of a cultural thing than a personal struggle. society told her her PHD was the success not having a family. the best thing covid did was allow people the time to analysis what they HOLD as value. as you can see the streets around the world = got hot
