You will get better power from your 50 shot if you heat the bottle. The full potential comes at 900-950psi

I installed a 75 shot years ago on a d series 1.5l. It actually held together. It did blow at the hundred shot tho . LOL

Believe it or not the owner actually wouldnt let us look under the hood (it was held down with woodscrews), so it really was a mystery when we bought it.

All you need is a Supercharger I think Kraftwerks sells one for H22. Boost, Juice and Poppin VTEC that sounds like the best feeling you could ever have. Could even get VTEC lockers cheap bro imagine that, H Series motor running only at high load VTEC cam with nitrous and instant boost you’d be gapping everyone else driving through the school zones

I miss hearing these motors in the street. not just the single jingles but most honda motors like the b, f, early k series motors. They're around I just don't see them as often anymore.

The switch to turn it on and to purge it I would leave in that little panel the nitrous switch I'd put in the top of the shifter some how lol.

why not put a micro switch on the throttle body so there is no need to push a button.. just turn the system on and at wide open throttle it will activate..

Good video, just a tip. Install 1 turbo charger and 1 tank of NOS. Then, route the tubes from the tank, through the turbo and then into the engine. And, boom. Now you're f*cked.

It won't even break a sweat with 100 shot. I sprayed 125 on a D series years ago without any problems with the motor. Had to upgrade the clutch because it would blow through it. From my experience, higher mileage motors hold nitrous better than brand new motors. I guess everything is just broken in and has looser tolerances.

@@bryceyoung3418 no because you still need to keep a positive pressure in the bottle. Having it sit straight up gets rid of that sweet spot you wanna be at with pressure

If you do a 50-75 shot and have it tuned by a professional it should be fine.

Awesome video im in between nitrous or turbo both about same price i know nitrous is easier to install but turbo is there no need to fill plus dont run out bad part is both will/can hurt the motor and trans but who cares it will be lit lol whats your guys thoughts??

Nitrous is definitely cheaper, If you go turbo you will end up needing bigger injectors and a way to tune it (chipped ecu, standalone, etc). I ended up spending about $1500 to turbo my civic. What kind of car do you have?

@@wideband Your right plus its my daily for now. I have a 94 civic ex with stock d16z6 i have h-beam rods and low comp pistons for it but think nitrous is the way i wanna go

oh that is tough... if you already got the rods and pistons that changes things, I would definitely put the motor together and turbo it in that case.

You will be alright with a 100 shoot of nitrous on a v8 engine maybe even a 150 shoot anything more than that I would gap the rings and you can put a little more on it..

What kind of purge kit did you use? Is there like a specific one for the NX kit you bought or just the universal one? May i know the exact code of the NX kit and purge kit you used? 😊

Just make sure it matches your kit size cause it comes in 2 sizes. -4 AN or -6 AN. The one above is a -4 AN which is what we used.

I know you posted this video 3 years ago, but I’m hoping you can enlighten me a little bit. With that kit you posted in the description, that you bought, what else did you have to buy to make the kit work on the single cam? I’m looking to buy a nitrous kit for my 97 Del Sol, with a single cam Vtec & I just want to see how much more I would have to spend & what exactly I would have to buy, besides that NO2 kit. Now(in 2022) the kit is selling for $500. So I’m trying to get a ball park of how much more it would cost me to buy the things the kit doesn’t come with. Really hope to hear back from you, as you have purchased & installed the same kit I’m looking to buy for myself lol🤘🏽 Love the video too btw!

Sorry I haven't used this channel in a long time. We paid 70 dollars to fill the bottle, there was a nitrous shortage at the time we made the video. No idea if it is higher or lower now. I had to buy a 7 dollar tube of liquid thread seal that was rated for use with high pressure gas. Other than that we just used some wire and basic electrical terminals. So maybe 10 bucks worth of electrical stuff from the hardware store. The kit was very complete. If you don't count the nitrous we spent like an extra 20 bucks on little things for the install.

Somthing is off with your afr..... thing should have pulled wayyy harder...the "mini" vtec reaction tells it all.... 50shot should make the actuall vtec feel mini on that 90whp motor.

It was 400. We just check marketplace and buy any cheap Hondas that pop up before other people even see them. We got 3 del sols for 500,600, and 700 respectively.
