I watched this film yesterday on BBC Two and absolutely fell in love with it! I'd heard ogf George Formby but didn't know what he did (I've lived a sheltered life) and he's a genius!

I've sailed the Red Sea and the Dead and the Med. There's only the Suck it and see left for me, Bell Bottom George. Wonderful stuff from an era now long gone. God bless you dear George Formby and your father before you.

@idkyet. Seven years on from your comment and we are finally leaving the EU. So long as Theresa May doesn't stitch us up. However, the damage tou our country has already been done. Too late to change anything now. R.I.P UK.
