that is true I did a good no Detroit sounds good even also send you through with the 453 Detroit that's good enjoy just like a international and Dodge Cummins a good too and and next truck I'm old look for look for a dump truck and then I'm going to look for a fifth-wheel and oil and a gooseneck trailer

@@INTERNATIONAL_RDF-D well my family has has 7 powerstrokes and they all have lasted well above 300k. I have one at 400k and my uncle had one that when tboned was at 550k. It's all in maintenance. Anybody who had a bad one obviously didn't know how to take care of it.

+Jim Garrison Ever notice how this goes with nearly every DIY hot rod. Regardless of make, they end up with a Chevy 350 of some form or another. I'm not saying there is anything wrong with the 350, just pointing out the similarities.

I want to run caster bean oil 2 stroke through the bottom of a 6v53 and then have it mix with biodiesel for total loss lubrication.

Man that's the problem I have with my 93 f250. With its dead on alignment it handles 85 mph like its on tracks, but having that big 460 running at 2700 rpms I can literally watch my fuel gauge going down. I just wish I had one more gear.

To be clear cause im finding many people quoting the turbo version of this motor at 282 ft lbs tq ... thats the NA output... the turbo version makes 420 ft lbs tq at 1600rpm

The truck was great i mis it it had more powerthen new trucks 100mph in13th was easy or pulling 10000lb was easy it got 20mpg and everyone new when i was coming the guy who bought it took it apart to make a gental mans truck dum as... It didnt need anything

If this truck were made with that engine in 1977, the model number wold have been F-3500 instead of F-350.

@@dawright1988 In the 1970s trucks came with both gas and diesel engines, so Ford added a zero to the model numbers of diesel trucks, that is, F models were F600, F700 and F800 when gassers and F6000, F7000 and F8000 when diesels.
