I love the stories that you make up when you're crafting. It often gives me a chuckle. I don't hear the music at all at the beginning anyway

This is so darling. You make it all look so easy, when I know it's not. Just goes to show you how repetition makes such a difference! I'm a novice. Actually, I still haven't made my first one, yet. Why, I'm not sure. One of these days. I've got to tell you. You did such a good job tying the signitures in. When you've moved all the string up to the top, and you're tying the knots, I was right there with you, holding my breath the whole time! 🥴 Your imagination and creativity are endless. I love your three signatures. I made a "zine" once, but the way you did it and I did not realise it is not a true "zine" (short for magazine), but a little booklet filled with goodies for a friend. You have inspired me to make a little Journal with 2 or three signatures to use as a little note book. Thanx for your lovely and creative ideas and that you so freely and generously shared them with us.❤❤

This was so fun. I love how you used a hardcover book for your little books cover. It made it feel like, “I may be small but I’m a real book!” I love all the tags and note pads you made for it. Your collages are so amazing. I need to remember that snippet rolls don’t have to be flashy to look good and work! A piece of masking tape, some interesting torn papers and sew up the middle and they look great. I also wanted to tell you, I couldn’t hear any music 🎺🎷🎸🔊🎻🥁🪕. I think you said the banging had stopped. ⛏🪚🔨🪛🛠 If it hadn’t, I couldn’t hear that either. I’ve heard banging on other channels. It didn’t bother me. One time I heard sirens, like an ambulance. I almost got up and looked outside. But then the person I was watching said she was sorry for the ambulance. I was impressed. Her sound system worked so good, 🚨🚑🚒 I thought it was coming down our street. But please don’t worry about noise 📣 I’m just always glad to get a video. Thanks for sharing this little book. I learned a new way to fold and cut paper.

My goodness what a gorgeous little journal. Love the cover and the no sew binding technique . This is a quick and easy journal to make for a quick gift. Love all the pages and pockets loaded with ephemera, to look at.

A few years ago any number of crafty KZfaqrs were making videos of how to make a zine (pronounced zeen as it is short for magaZINE). And the paper was folded just this way. I made a number of them myself, 8 volumes in all (self-published!), and sent them to all my penpals. As usual, crafters at that time took a "definition" and made it their own! It inspires me now to pick it up again and create volume 9!

Barbara, wonderful project! As for the noise, try disposable earplugs. They are a godsend for anyone who lives in an urban setting or apartment building, they've saved me many a day when I've had road work outside my window or construction next door!

I think in the crafting/journaling world it’s zine fold which has been shortened. If you Google and add the word ‘fold’ you get instructions for this technique. I love that you are showing how to put more than one together as a journal.

This is beautiful it would be a great little book if u have a little one starting school to keep a list of books read and things learned, i had a notebook when my girls started school so i could remember what page they were on in books and what times tables they had done, but this would of been great a lovely way to remember especially if you add pictures, i may make one as i still have photos from when they were in nursery and during world book day, thanks for the inspiration hun xx

I know this is a very late comment, but I made this little journal and use it as a crafting journal! I love it! I have a "'Sprocket" which is a small printer that prints photos from your phone 2x3 in size so I can see the different projects I have done this year. I also have included some of my crafting history - people that have influenced me (you're one!), memories, quotes, etc. I have enjoyed it sew much! Thank you for constantly inspiring me 😊

Minibücher finde ich super. 😊 Die kann man auch sehr gut mit Kindern falten … ich kenne sie aus dem Schulbereich, z.B aus dem Englischunterricht 🤓… Da ist ein sehr süßes Büchlein entstanden… ☺️ Diese Form des Covers mag ich auch sehr (fast alle meine Journals gestalte ich beim Hardcover so ähnlich).
