드디어 만났습니다. 제가 참 궁금했던 3기갑여단의 T-80U! 이번 촬영은 T-80을 만나고 싶어하는 저의 사심이 가득했던 취재였는데요, 가스터빈엔진의 매력적인 사운드를 들려드리기 위해 볼륨 조절에 신경을 썼습니다. 그리고 많은 밀덕 분들이 궁금해 하실텐데요 퇴역은 임박하지 않았으며 2020년 이후가 될것이라는 것을 말씀드릴 수 있을 것 같습니다.^^

e.s Kim it was very close at being cancelled, at first there wasn't any difference in T-64 and T-80 besides it's Gas Turbine and over 3 times more expensive paired with 3 times more horrible fuel consumption by the hour vs a standard diesel and worse reliability. But some guy that managed the weaponry for the Soviet Union died and the next guy loved tanks with GT Engines. Very few where made as the T-64 or T-72 was prefered option. @@bryanmartinez6600, you're wrong. Read more about these tanks and understand this. From the T-64 refused because of the capricious oppozit engine, unsuccessful and weak chassis and insufficient booking. He will be replaced by the T-72 Ural tank. T-72 was more reliable and unpretentious, had more serious protection and running gear. At the very beginning, the T-80 had only a turret from the T-64, but in the T-80u version they replaced the turret with a new one, and the gas turbine engine turned out to be very unpretentious. GTD-1250 can work in the desert and in the Arctic. It starts up from the first time at a temperature of -50 centigrade celsiy, and for the whole period of operation it can pass through a floor tons of dirt and dust. The T-80 is the most advanced production tank of the USSR. It was created to fight the American Abrams and the German Leopard 2. With his help, the USSR planned to defeat NATO troops in two days and reach from East Germany to the Lamanche Strait. The military used on the T-64, T-72 and T-80 unanimously choose the T-80 as the best tank of the three Soviet MBT.

Normally, Russia downgrades the weapons that they export, however; those T80U Russia gave South Korea are fully loaded one.

T-80U는 러시아에도 5000대있는만큼 정말좋음 이젠 노후화로 BVM형으로 개조중 가스터빈 특유 빠른기동력이 좋으나 기름이 너무많이들어감 (한국한정) 러시아는 자원이 많으니… 그리고 가스터빈은 아무기름이나 넣어도 굴러감

무엇보다.. 흑표 개발의 밑거름이 됬죠.. 그런면에서는 진짜 고마운 탱크죠. 빚대신 받아오다보니 마이너버전아니고 진짜... 헬맷, 무전기까지 있는 그대로.. 러시아에서 출고된 그대로 들어왔으니까요 ^^

T80U . BMP3. 무레나급 공기부양정. KA-32 우리군만큼 미군장비쓰면서 러시아장비 가진 군대도 없을것입니다 대항군으로서 실제 적성장비를 쓸 수 있는것도 큰 장점이라 생각합니다

미군 장비는 거희 대부분 M47 과 M48이고 미군 전차인 M1 에이브람스 기술이 적용된 K1 전차가 대부분이지만 K2 흑표부터는 거희 대부분이 러시아제 영향을 많이 받았습니다.

She was still so impressive, even after so many years then. Well on my own point of view as a military weapon enthusiast even the ROKAF shall put all the units of this type of battle tanks in to retirement. They can possibly put all this tanks in an immediate active service once again after a very long storages, the only important thing that they shall going to do are stored them in properly manner just what the Russian military has done to there old but truly reliable amour gun platforms, they should not allow them to be turn into a scrap materials, but stored them for future use, this how reliable the Russian built war machines can be, in particular the T-80 main battle tanks.

Korea and Russia are much closer than you think. If Russia did not trust South Korea, it would not have handed over the T-80U. Russia has also greatly influenced the development of South Korea's military weapons. In general, Western countries do not know or trust anything about Korea, but in fact, Russia has the highest favorability toward Korea among Western countries. The reason is that when Russia declared a moratorium in the past, many foreign companies left Russia, but Korean companies remained until the end to keep their trust. Since then, South Korea and Russia have become closer than any other country in the West. South Korea and Russia are similar enough to rank 10th and 11th in the global economy. Also, Russians grew up eating the same snacks as Koreans and eating the same ramen and the same mayonnaise since they were young

ㅋㅋㅋㅋ옛날생각나네요. 80대대 출신은 아니지만 80대대에서 밥타다 먹었는데 민간조리사 아주머니가 인사도 잘하고 서글서글한 운전병이라고 사과나 후라이같은 군대에서 먹기 힘든거 주시곤 했는데 그분은 잘계시는지 모르겠네. 아직도 계시려나? 한 십년전 일이니 안계실수도 있겠네.

When it turned out that there was no money, the Koreans generously agreed to take them with military equipment. 들여올때는 k1이상급이었지만 이젠 계륵인 장비.. k2및 k1계열과 호환이 안되는것은물론 그수가적어 주력으로 굴릴수없고 이젠 러시아한테도 보수개량부품을 요구할수없는상황이니 딱 대항군훈련용으로만 쓰는것이 적절해보이네요.. 전시에는 물론 굴여야겠지만요

저 T-80U 땅크로도 북괴의 어지간한 땅크들은 씹어먹을 수 있다고 들음. 물론 대전차 병기 및 경우에 따라서 실시되는 반자이 어택같은 북괴의 해괴망측한 전술도 조심해야겠지만요.

저도 k1a1전차병 이었지만 타국의 t80u는 확실히 멋있어보이더군요. 가스터빈엔진이 단점이 많다고 생각하시는분이 있으시겠지만 의외로 전시때는 아무기름이나 넣어도 굴러가는 강점이 있는 엔진이기도 합니다.

Soviet technologies on the T-80 were analyzed and learned by South Korean engineers, and then applied to the design of the K-2 Tank, which was based on the K-1A1 from the prototype. experimental American MBT-70, and its successor the M1A1-M1A2 tank series. Perhaps South Korean engineers saw that Soviet engineers designed the T-80's suspension to be quite effective for traveling on complex terrain, and most importantly, the complex armor system of the T-80. The T-80 was designed by Khakiv Morozov. This is an important military secret of the Soviet Union during the Cold War. Furthermore, they could see that the Soviet ERA explosive reactive armor was also very suitable for development and integration into South Korean tanks and armored vehicles.

한국이 소련한테 돈 빌려주고 무기로 받아냈다는 사실은 북한이 미국한테 돈 빌려주고 미국 최신예 무기로 받은 것이라고 비교할 수 있을 정도로 충격적인 일이었음

브레이크레버-패드식 조향장치를 쓰는 소련전차 답게 선회속도를 미세조정하질 못하고 저속에서 선회시 한쪽 궤도를 멈춰야해서 그런가 돌때마다 덜컹거리네요ㅎㅎ 뭐 어쩌겠습니까...그게 또 소련전차의 숨은 매력인데ㅎㅎ 거칠고 투박한 설계, 초기형 로열오드넌스 105mm 장착형 K1/에이브람스보다 강한 방어력, U형/UK형 기준 빠른 속도, 가스터빈에서 기인하는 높은 기도비닉 성능(군대서 본 16년도 국방일보 신문인가? 거기서는 3기갑 대원 왈 전방에서는 한 400미터쯤까지 접근해야 전차라고 인지할 만큼의 소리가 들린다고 합니다), 125mm 주포의 낮은 명중률과 관통력을 대가로 한 높은 대인화력, 소련의 라스푸티차 등 열악한 도로환경에서 나온 압도적 도하능력과 험지주파력까지, 소련 전차중 가장 매력적인 전차(IS-3, IS-5/8/T-10, IS-7, Object 257등 복합면체(쐐기형) 경사장갑 중전차들과 T-80)에 속하죠.

Let me explains ! Josef Stalin give T-80 with a specific reason, to pay a debts to ROK but USSR on that time have no money then ROK suggest them to pay with a tank with advanced features that time and USSR agreed to pay it with T-80 because T-80 have advanced technology

Did those T-80U received any serious modifications? And what type of ammunition does it use? Considering the IR Light is still there it isn't equipped with Thermals which indicates it's the early T-80U model and the best russian ammunition at that time was 3BM32 "Vant" and 3BM42 "Mango" which by now are pretty outdated rounds.

으잉? NSV 같이 생긴 물건이 대공 기총으로 달려있네요? 저거 저거 동구권 12.7mm 그대로 사용하는 모델이면 도입할때 기총탄환까지 고대로 들여온 모양이네요. 탄 수급 문제 때문에 기총을 K-6로 바꿔달고 있을 줄 알았는데 말이죠.

양고기 굳이 달려온걸 바꿀 필요도 없고 기관총 부품이나 탄 정도는 단순하니까 충분히 국내생산도 가능하구.

Sy Oh 음, 국내에 동구권 장비 부품을 생산하는 업체가 있는지는 잘 모르는데, 아무래도 우리 군에서 NSV 기총의 수요라 해봐야 국내 도입된 서른몇대의 떼팔공 정도이니까 국내생산해서 납품 받거나 할 수 있는 정도의 수량은 아니라고 생각합니다. 그러니 구 동구권 국가에서 사와서 충당해야 될텐데, 문제는 이게 다 돈이라는 거죠. 또 전시 호환성 문제도 있으니 아마 K-6로 바꿔 달지 않았을까 생각해 본겁니다. 차체나 동축 기총으로 달려있는 PK 기총은 그렇다 쳐도 대공 기총의 교체는 그다지 어렵거나 돈이 드는 작업도 아니니, 바꿔 달았어도 그것이 크게 당위성이 떨어지는 건 아닌데, 의외로 그대로 달고있어서 놀랐네요.

이주호 아뇨, 수출형인가 원판인가의 문제가 아니라, 그냥 대공 기총을 바꿔달았나 수준의 문제입니다. 사막도색 험비에 M2 대신 Dshk 달았다고 험비 수출형 이러진 않잖아요.

This is the sound of a gas turbine engine, which was installed only in the T 80U. At that time it was a unique tank, although it is possible that today it remains unique. And yes, the sound of a gas turbine engine is similar to a jet engine.

I'm curious about something. South Korea produces its own indigenous mbt, so I'd figure these T 80 Us are still in service regardless. But have they been upgraded at all they look relatively stock.

Sadly, now all t-80s are retired from armored brigades and used for training to portray the enemy. So is BMP3.
