We had a Wacky Shack at a theme park called Joyland in Wichita Ks.

May be a carnival ride to some but it's only one of very few dark rides built by the legendary dark ride designer Billy Tracy who built and designed my all time favorite dark ride The Haunted House at Trimper Rides in Ocean City MD.

As a teen we used to get off of the cart and run around and hop back into it before the it went back outside lol

I just went of a long search, I live around this park called Lake Winnie, and they have a ride now called the wacky factory, not too long ago, this was called "Castle" and was much more of a medieval horror dark ride, that was installed in '69, however sometime in the 90's I believe, the original castle facade was changed out for a flat hand painted facade, as well as converting the ride to a single story, without the dip, it also lost much of the extra run time. but before all of that, in the early 60's, they actually had this, the wacky shack, designed by Bill Tracy. And that building was fully pink and had a clown face and red curtains over the entrance. As you may recall, the new ride there now is called the wacky factory, a call back to the original ride's name. That park has a lot of history, so much so that I may need to make a video on it, as a lot of this info is completely unknown by most of our community here.

The guy still jumped when the Bus horn went off. Sad to see most of Tracy’s spooks have been removed from the ride; there worth too much having people destroy.

No.....this was built by the same company, it's not a copy. It was built by the bill tracy company in the 70s, there are many rides like this, which is why you see so many of the same effects at other rides around the country
