Knowing that that specific kit has a smart flashing feature, so you don’t constantly annoy the car behind you, I would keep that feature specifically for this reason. Well done 👍🏼💯

Thanks! Yeah, I was surprised about that! I like that it has such an easy way to disable it, too. (With some extra wiring, the feature may even be able to be put on a switch and turned on/off!)

To remove the OEM 7-pin plug on the 4runner, you mention an “unlock tab”…is that the raised area and the tab is hidden under the tape/wire protection sleeve? TIA.
