I like the quick 2nd TC after Military - keeps that aggression/map control and also lets you go up in eco. Have you tried rushing Golden Age 1 prior to starting stone? I've been trying this for a bit quicker stone gather, but understand getting it first can also help prevent harass. Great guide!

Great video, thanks! I’ve been using your culture wing 2TC into castle rush build order recently. What is the deciding factor for you for which ago up and strategy to go for? Is it the opponent civ, or is it in response to scouting the base? If the civ, which civ match best with this strategy and which should you avoid? Thanks!

Can you show 1 TC abbasid variant as well, like say, against english longbow rush or HRE maa all in.

HRE maa all in is tough to deal with in feudal in my opinion (with Abbasid or ayyubids). So would love to see that matchup as well

Your eco and military upgrades were much later than opponent. Is it also a key to win ? When will you make those upgrades? Only when 100% feeling of advantage?

For anyone in the comments reading this, if the game isn't aggressive, what is the best way to try to transition to Castle age? Do you just not make as many military units by only producing from 1 of each building type so you can stock up food or what?

Do you always recommend Eco Wing to Castle Age or also Culture Wing? I dont like Medical Centers and the last tech, but I very much like the tech cost reduction with Preservation of Knowledge

I'd guestimate that Eco Wing is the default, but Culture Wing is a viable alternative if you age up relatively quickly and with enough map control that you don't have to worry about your farm transition just yet. If you expect the farm transition to draw near by the time you click up, Eco Wing is the way to go. (Disclaimer: I'm only gold myself)

How did you win that feudal fight so decisively against an objectively better army? Limitanei, triumph horsemen and longbows against completely generic archers, spears and horsemen. Is phalanx that much of a difference?

I have Boot Camp + Phalanx + New units coming faster than his, which all in all gives me a larger and higher quality army

Awesome build! But wouldn't the build be better by the TC also getting reduced from the eco wing, 300 wood and 263 stone i believe. also farms would be 56 wood so you can constantly produce vils on wood and use wood vils for farms. What do you think?

Then you wouldn’t have military wing units, that are essential to this build. Going ecowing with fertile crescent tech into 2tc (and not 3tc) is doable at 4:45 with a good spawn, but you don’t have tempo gain that is so important. Also, dont make farms. Go on pocket resources

What made you decide to take wheelbarrow out of the build order?

Wheelbarrow slows you down and takes a long time to pay off. That payoff time is significantly reduced when you have 2tcs making villagers instead of 1.

Stay 1tc and instead of mining gold and stone you're gathering wood for stable + archery range.

@@Valdemar1902 i did that already, then English spam MAA and spear, my horseman and archer can't do anything. I think English is the hardest matchup for Abbasid

I recommend looking at the Twitch Video finder on aoe4world with that MU and 1600+ elo rating for filters as you analyse what top level players do. :)
