Only one time in my life did I actually get the girl for being a "nice guy". Not despite being a nice guy, but because of it. She knew it was my own 20 and she could tell I was just trying to prevent trouble, which was worth a lousy 20 for all I cared, I just wanted to keep the peace (of mind). She instantly said I saw what you did, all of it, and I just want you to know I couldn't be more impressed. She said I had you all wrong (because I had a rep for being tough and hurting people, mostly from when I was a kid and had anger issues) and I feel foolish for judging you that way. Afterwards we dated for quite sometime.
