great video! just randomly discovered your channel but i love the content so far. just a tiny technical tip - increasing the volume of your microphone and decreasing the volume of music (especially in the beginning of the video) would do wonders. keep doing what you're doing, love it! :)

Roadside Picnic Novel by Arkady Strugatsky and Boris Strugatsky Solaris Novel by Stanisław Lem

Two that have been on my list! I love the movie Stalker based on Roadside Picnic, but I’ve heard they are pretty different. I also read Fiasco by Lem awhile back, and I’ve been meaning to check out Solaris. Thanks for the recs!

I think if you really love the dune movie/ book and you want to dive deeper into the characters that you saw in the movies.... You need to backtrack and read the prequels which of the house trilogies... House harkonnen house Attreades house carino. It will give you a back story on all the characters you see in the movie and it's a really great 3 book story all by itself.

Thanks for this rec! Out of all the extended universe Dune stuff, I’ve heard that trilogy is probably some of the best stuff and your comment affirms that. I hope to eventually get around the checking them out!

That series as been high on my to-read list since Dune! It thoroughly seems like it would be my jam. I was sold on it when it was described as "space religious pilgrimage" to me. Thanks for the rec!
