The greatest lesson that I learned is to not rush things. It is better to grow my finances on a steady pace kaysa yung mapressure due to peer achievements. Minsan kasi nacocompare natin yung sarili natin sa iba lalo na sa kaage natin. But we often forgot na magkakaiba tayo ng starting lines. Yes it is so hard to see our worth without the peso sign because we usually measure ourselves using the amount in our banks. Kaya madalas feeling natin is mababa ang tingin ng tao sa atin. However, Our worth is not defined by what other people think of us. Our value is something that is inherent to us. The moment I look into my personal finance, dun ko lang narealize na ang layo na pala ng narating ko if I compare myself to my old self and not to others.

The best lesson for me is this: "It's not too late to start." And tama yung sinabi mo na budgeting may take some time before you can see results kasi it took me 2 years and now pa lang ako nagiipon for emergency funds but I'm happy with the progress hopefully this year mabuno na yun and be able to save for investing naman.

agree madam. sa panahon ngayon sobrang dali na magkaroon ng another source of income. but for me make sure na wag maging jack of all trades. mas ok padin na you have a specialization. and yung different source of income mo revolves around that specialization. in that way mas mabuibuild yung core skills mo while gaining more. :)

I've learned to managed my finances. I've started to invest in more aggressive stocks and funds. Way before pandemic I'm really afraid to try these because of the fear of losing money, pag pinagaralan mo naman pala mas magkakaron ka ng confidence to do it. I would say na blessing in disguise ung pandemic mas natutunan ko na mamuhay ng simple, dati kc kada aya ng friend sama agad walang budget budget, nitong pandemic I've learned na magtrack ng expenses and I make sure na alam ko kung san napupunta ung pera na kinikita ko.

I learned to set aside money for emergency fund. Yun yung hindi ko nagagawa before the pandemic. Kaya ngayong pandemic sinisiguro kong makakapagtabi ako for EF kahit konti para sa susunod na kailanganin ko may mapagkukunan ako. Thanks Ms. Thea for sharing this video. Love you!

I'm 22 yrs old. 9 months working as a public school teacher. Still walang savings. So pressured sa life dahil sa nakikita sa social media at hirap din makaipon dahil sobrang impulsive sa pagbili ng kung ano ano. Maybe kase ang dami kong gusto noon na hindi ko nakukuha kaya ngayon bumabawi ako sa sarili ko and I know na hindi maganda yon dahil wala akong savings until now. At alam ko sa sarili ko na kailangan ko ng help ng ibang tao para mabudget finances ko.

I use UB Online since 2020 during the lockdown. Sobrang user-friendly kasi pwede sa online unlike ibang banks na need pa ng personal appearance.
