Sorry to hear that. However, just because you followed all the procedures does not mean you will be admitted. It is just like saying that because you attended a job interview and submitted all the required documents, you must get a job; that is not how life is. They consider many factors when making decisions, and I am sure the reason for rejection was stated in their letter. It is a very competitive university as rightly so because it is one of the best in Europe and among the cheapest so unfortunately lots of people always apply and everyone will not be accepted. So cherish the experience, learn from it and try again. Also, explore other options.

I am applying for BSc what is transcript of grades "All transcripts obtained during the last 3 years of secondary school. Mandatory translation by a sworn translator if the statement is in a language other than French, English or German.

All the details are on the course application page. Transcripts of grades mean evidence of all your high school grades; this is common information. Contact your school and request your transcripts; they should know what to do. NOTE: If you are applying for a bachelor's degree programme, you must first apply for the recognition of your high school certificate from the Luxembourg Ministry of Education; this is a mandatory requirement before you can complete the online application; this process may take up to 30 days. In addition, you have to show evidence of language skills proficiency for all the languages used in teaching such a bachelor's degree programme. Regards Nuel

Bruh I have low grades in my 12th standard and applying for bachelors in relevant course but have done outstanding work in computer science in which I'm applying for a research paper, some projects and 22 certificates showing that I have great knowledge in multiple fields of computer science will it impact my application ? Good one, Doc.! I have applied on day one, but I received an email the next day to submit my referees' details which I did at once, and I received a message that the details had been received and forwarded to the faculty, but up till now, my referees haven't received their message and I have messaged them about it but no reply. What do I do? My portal reads "sent to the faculty'.

That is strange because usually, it will be an automatic notification to your referee(s). You need to follow it up quickly with the study department; you may have to keep emailing them, and you may also contact the programme's course coordinator. NOTE: This is a very busy period for them as they get lots of email so be patient and try and call them too directly Good luck Nuel

Thank you for this video. I don't have a second masters degree just my bachelor's but want to apply masters in intergrated systems biology. If you look at the websites you can't find it but instead masters in molecular and computational biomedicine. Is it the same program, Sir? Is it okay to apply without any masters degree?

I have answered this question. It seems the name was recently changed, but the contents remain almost the same. I checked the course contents/modules, and they are the same as what we studied during my time at the University of Luxembourg studying for my master's in Integrated Systems Biology.

They use the Belgium embassy ABUJA for their consular services, but first, you must apply for temporary authorisation to stay, which will be sent to the Immigration Directorate Luxembourg. Regards Nuel

Nuel ithnk they collect all the appllications sumbitted till the deadlines of 30th of april and then study them one by one and choose ... It will be unfaire then why let us apply if they already chosen thier 15 or 30 seats .... And do know aprox ho many seats they open for bachelor of BBA ?!

In the video, I stated that this is my view and do not speak for the study department or the university. This is clearly my view. Please watch the video again, and I can express my view. Logically, admission is an ongoing process. They don't have to wait until the end of the deadline to start processing all the applications; who does that? How will they cope with these applications? Are you aware that some people have been rejected already? So why didn't they wait until 30th April to reject them?. Again, it is wise to apply early because most of the courses are capped, and those who applied earlier might have greater chances; THIS IS MY VIEW AND REMAINS MY VIEW; I DO NOT SPEAK FOR THE UNIVERSITY.

They don't do that. If the seat is filled up in your department, you will be notified within 24 hours of your submission. But if there is no such mail , there is a high probability that your application is being processed.

If you are applying for a master's degree programme, you don't need to apply for the recognition of your high certificate before submitting your application. However, if you secure admission, you must apply for the diploma to be registered in the higher education section of the register of certificates kept by the Ministry of Higher Education and Research in Luxembourg. You must be patient; this is a busy period for them, and it might take days or weeks, depending on the volume of applications they are dealing with. If the study department said they have sent your application to the study programme you applied for, it means it has passed the preliminary check, so they are probably processing it now, so be patient. If that is the case, this may be due to administrative changes. However, you should be patient as that also gives you the opportunity for your application. So, prepare all documents and write a robust statement of purpose. Regards Nuel

Sorry about that. I don't know how robust your application was, especially concerning the motivation letter. Also, it is a highly competitive university, so they often receive too many applications. Appeals don't usually work because you must prove they were wrong in their decision, which is challenging. My advice is that you might look elsewhere or come back again. Nuel

Does they require transcripts for degree programs and what is the average score for IELTS exams. What if u dont meat the required scores, can it also be an obstacles

You must add your transcript, this is basic and every school needs that. Visit the course page you are applying for the IELTS band required should be stated there in most cases. You must meet the required score, the conditions are for everyone and NO exception. So the onus is on you to meet the minimum requirement. There are other ways to fulfill the condition too, so check the uni page Regards Nuel

A simple Google search shows that Numerus clausus ("closed number" in Latin) is one of many methods used to limit the number of students who may study at a university. So in my view, it could be that the spaces available for that programme are filled up. This is entirely my view; you may email the university for more clarification. They said in refusal Letter that I could also appeal...I actually feel that their feedback is not justifiable after collecting application fee and not stating that their vacancy is closed. they should have announced on their website portal that the vacancy is closed already then I would have applied for other courses instead. I created my profile Feb 2nd and submitted my documents on Feb 18.

This programme probably received overwhelming applications this year, so there may be a high standard for acceptability. Suppose the refusal letter said that you ranked low among other applicants. In that case, it simply means that based on their criteria for acceptance, others they accepted were better qualified than you, at least in this instance. Appeal means you want to prove that they got it wrong; how can you prove that? You need to provide evidence to justify that you probably ranked better than those they accepted hypothetically, which is a tall order and difficult to prove. There is nothing wrong with appealing to it, but focus on applying early next time, getting some new skills, and perhaps trying another affordable university within the EU. All the best Nuel.

The mistake was on the admission form I.e the first form that they use in generating the student ID before making payment for the application fee not the uploading document part

If you are applying for a bachelor's degree, yes, but for matters, you don't need to do that before making an online application. However, after you have secured admission, you must apply for the diploma to be registered in the higher education section of the register of certificates kept by the Ministry of Higher Education and Research in Luxembourg. Generally, second class is the minimum requirement. There is no specification on the level.

@@temitopegideon8147 You can apply anytime, but if your year of graduation is more than two years, then you cannot use your English-taught bachelor's as proof of English language skills; you will need to provide an English language certificate to show evidence of language proficiency.
