I'm still in college so I am aggressively paying college debts. I feel like I should still be saving for retirement though. Seems like I should be putting more away. Tax return time is where I really have a chance to save a good portion for retirement. I think it might help to save a small amount from each paycheck I get, even if its just 5% of income.

I'm trying to decide if I want to stay with betterment for my retirement account or switch to vanguard

Nice. But, around 3:25 you mention the sort of amount one needs to set as a retirement goal being 25 x yearly spend (ie. 25Y) which comes to a huge number. Surely aren't you still letting your money work for you (ie. keep it invested) so all you need is X amount and the money grows by more than the platform fees plus inflation plus the yearly spend and therefore it would more or less remain at X'ish - a lot less than 25Y. Or am I missing something?

But what if you're using roboadvisors? They calculate algorithms based on your income and risk tolerance. I use moderate risk bc I make very littls money as it is

Yes - they figure out a portfolio for you made up of different funds that will be at the risk level that you selected in the questionnaire they give you to open the account and they handle it. Thanks for watching and commenting!
