Trust me guys! I have recovered it It’s harmless Face the anxiety Let the thoughts run in your head Don’t react to those thoughts every time The less value you give to the thoughts the power of anxiety will be less and it will fade away

I just want my life back and to have a little joy here and there. I can’t feel joy or happiness for years. This shit robbed me of everything I love and used to like doing

1) you’re experiencing anxiety and panic attacks because your nervous system has become very sensitive and it starts thinking everything is a threat. 2) once you understand what’s happening you needing to to focus on long term freedom. 3) the key is how are you’re responding to your anxiety 4) setbacks will happen. Recovery is not linear. Really important how you respond to setbacks. Recognize they exist. It’s not something you are doing wrong. They happen and it’s normal. 5) your confidence comes back

I was doing good with my anxiety recovery then the other day I had a panic attack and it felt like my heart was squeezing which freaked me out. My only fear now is the fear that anxiety will cause damage to me and I will end up dying from it
@liztowers2058
@liztowers2058 Жыл бұрын
The heart can beat over 200 beats per minute for days and days before any damage is done. That's a scientific fact. Heart is a very thick muscle. You would have to have an attack for days on end 24/7 to damage anything. Which is impossible because your body runs out of adrenaline after a few hrs anyways.

My opinion, 1. Ignore the fast heartbeat, say 'do what you like heart, I'm in charge, yr not part of me' believe me the heart slows down within a minute. 2. Limit yr overthinking and concentrate on the moment, even while just brushing yr teeth. 3. Understand that it will pass as will the problem causing the anxiety 4. Be thankful and appreciate EVERYTHING you have 5. Take magnesium citrate or Glycenate and vitamin B complex. 6. Use labender oil to calm you and lemongrass to lift your mood 7. Drink a cup of lemonbalm tea a day 8. Don't eat chocolate, sugars and caffeine

I could follow every bit of advice on your list but giving up chocolate is a step too far! Besides, the dark chocolate I prefer, is rich in magnesium, contains health guarding flavanoids wich help protect the heart and it also thins the blood.

Starting getting panick attacks at break up of marriage have never recovered and have experience symptoms everyday since! It's debilitating also the catalyst change from someone or something triggering my anxiety to sometimes any such thought related to the future, tried hypnotherapy was a load of crap talking therapy only reminds you you're anxious also tried the Charles Linden method supposed to be hugely successful but guess what didn't work for me. Tried different levels of intellectual engagement as its supposed to divert away from the anxiety but most of the time same results.

I got sunburn on my shoulders. My aunt was tending to it with calamine lotion. The dog came in and started to jump up at me wanting to play. I suddenly felt very unreal. I set off running through the house, my heart racing, a heavy knot in my stomach...the fear overwhelmed me! My aunt thought that she had hurt me...and when I tried to explain what happened, I don't think they believed me. I became sensitised after that very day and have suffered ever since with a myriad of exaggerated symptoms...Yesterday, I was walking in the park, when my heart suddenly started skipping and fluttering, causing me to go into panic mode. It lasted for about 10 seconds and was normal again. I tried to calm myself and say, its just exaggerated symptoms from sensitised nerves, but nevertheless, I was relieved when I got home...It turned a pleasant walk into an ordeal. Recovery from this, it seems to me, is akin to being at the base of a very large mountain, not having slept for a week and having to climb it...everyday! It's so exhausting.

I was watching Better Call Saul last night and (spoiler alert!) when Chuck died by himself because he felt like he couldn’t keep going with his mental health problem, it was just too hard I felt that. I even wanted to be him at that moment. At least that’s how I saw it. I wanted to cry. I keep imagining putting my gn . To my head and I keep saying over and over “who cares what anybody else will feel, you won’t care once it happens.” But then I play a video game or something and I get distracted so I want to live. I’m just in this loop of me wanting to die and also live forever.

Childhood trauma, a past victim of different kinds of bullying, verbal, or others, can definitely be one of the causes of anxiety and panic attacks, these negative emotions which were caused by these particular events reside within your subconscious mind, I for myself sometimes when I'm with people I get anxious, not too much like I used to in the past as I've found a way how to release these emotions and it is only a matter of time when I’ll release them fully, I even used to have panic attacks a lot of times, so Shan you are totally wrong in this point, and honestly, I believe that panic attacks and anxiety just can't appear out of nowhere, it has to be something stressful short term or long term that caused that, then your brain starts to play that tape that’s filled with negative emotions,then you get anxiety. Anxiety is definitely related to ptsd and negative emotions, I know that due to my experience but also if you guys wish do some research on google.

I NOW believe I've been dealing with insane amounts of anxiety for a while now. An event happened beginning of 2021 when I WOKE UP feeling like I was at high altitude (hard to breathe despite clearly getting oxygen). This lasted for ALMOST 2 YEARS CONSISTENTLY while slowly dissipating (yes, consistently, as in every second of every day, from the moment I woke up to the moment I went to sleep). As a result, I grew massively depressed and rarely left my apartment. Doctors didn't know what it was, I got chest x-rays, ENT visits, and all sorts of blood work. Doctors found NOTHING. After wasting an ungodly amount of time, I've think I'm finally figuring out what the issue is. I thought It was GERD, but I'm leaning towards Severe Anxiety. Waking up with that breathing problem REALLY messed with my head because I could not for the life of me find any information of someone having a panic attack that lasted more than a month consistently, let alone 2 years! Imagine struggling to breath for 2 years while doctors tell you you're fine. 🥴 Thanks for the information you provide. It's been a little over 3 years at this point and most of the symptoms are under better control, though the breathing issue is the biggest one that rears its ugly head from time to time. Hell, maybe I was misdiagnosed with hyperhidrosis as a kid and it's just a symptom of my severe anxiety?! This has all been the WEIRDEST experience I have ever endured.

This is happening to me right now. It's been three months of consistently being scared. I hold my breath when I panic and it wakes me up in my sleep and I don't feel better again until I can sleep for a few hours. I know it's anxiety but the feeling i get in my body makes me THINK it's something else. If you have any tips, let me know. Three years of this? i don't think I'd be strong enough to handle that.

Yes, I see and hear your supposed recovery story and it is all lies. This in no way will overcome GAD. To overcome it one has to expose oneself to one's irrational fears. The more one does this the body gets used to the fact that these are irrational fears and therefore it no longer gets anxious in such situations. To begin with one talks to the body and explains to the body how one is going to overcome the irrational fear. After a while one no longer needs to talk to one's body as it finds out that you are able to handle the situation.
