Some Rc 505 users who upgrade may not be very familiar with osc bot and some of the things you can do with it. Although simple, I hope this helps someone out

Is there any possible way to put a rest(s) in a Voc Bot sequence?
@thepoofster2251 Жыл бұрын
You just set the volume for that but to 0. So if you are split into 16th notes, every note you have with 0 volume will be a 16th rest

thanks for the vid! I have a problem: I routed my channels all to different inputs in my interface and now the Track effects don't effect the loops anymore although it ist set to ALL. Can you help?
@thepoofster22514 ай бұрын
I have never played with routing before. Can you just change it back?
@EricDTrejo4 ай бұрын
@@thepoofster2251 same happened to me. Didn't know routing was at fault. I have to put it to mic or inst 1 or 2 for my fx to work, because all doesn't work

There is a factory reset option in the menus somewhere, it will return the entire machine to the state it was in at purchase. This will reset ALL settings however, not just the one you are targeting.

Been using Ableton Live for looping...not limited to only 5 tracks either. I don't really see this peice of gear to be worth the money anymore or worth having in the studio. Mine simply became redundant as soon as I opened up Ableton Live.
@thepoofster2251 Жыл бұрын
Well yeah, that's not the purpose of the machine. A DAW is meant to replace physical equipment and by the nature of the power found in a modern PC, it will outshine most hardware. This unit is meant for someone going dawless, and possibly using midi to connect multiple devices. Kinda weird you came to tutorial video just to say you don't use the machine which the tut is about. Ty for the view tho

@@thepoofster2251 No don't get me wrong, I enjoyed watching your video, I love all types of hardware and find it interesting watching users like yourself using them. The piont I made was purely about my own experience with it. Now that I use Ableton for my looping my Unit is pretty much redundant. Saying that I do like using the MPC ONE for sequencing too, it's and excellent machine for that along with the sampling stuff. I'm thinking I might as well sell my Mk11 now, along with my Hydrasynth desktop too. It's not for me. But anyway's, I still enjoy watching yourself and others use it. 👍
