There's so many building mistakes and bad finishings like bad tile on the pool uneven countertops cabinet doors that aren't lined up correctly. For 50 million it should be perfect and if you can see these bad finishes on film imagine the shortcuts the builders took in places you can't see

@hassyg4083 houses in that area are built to withstand earthquakes. Seismic panels, steel beams and supports, heavy duty concrete. It's all been engineered to hold up. Same as east coast homes with hurricanes. All homes on hurricane areas are built to withstand most categories of hurricanes. It's only the rare overly strong ones that will destroy the homes.

It’s all subjective. The land alone in that area of Malibu is probably worth 10-20 million alone. The house, with its concrete construction was millions just for the structure. The backlit onyx and custom woodworking was millions. That backyard alone with that pool and fire pit was well over a million. In the middle of Oklahoma would this house cost 50 million? No. Probably half that. But it Malibu…. Gotta pay to play

This truly is an amazing house. What's amazing is that the house is ho high, that when Adam was filming the Pelicans flying from the balcony, they were at the same height! The water & plants merging with the house is just incredible.

What a beautiful house. Such a serene feel. The carved stone walls all over the house are a detail you rushed thru but the glimpses of them just added another level to the thoughtfulness of the design. I wish I could live there!

I’m 100% sure it’s got more than 6Kw of solar, closer to 60 or 70kw by the looks of the roof

Agreed - a 6kw array is adequate for a smaller house, but nothing this size. I have a 12kw array on my house and by the size of the panels, there's at least 10x the claimed power so ~60-70kw

That's actually in a fairly remote part of Mailbu, it's about a half hour drive to the closest grocery store. The deal killer for me is that to actually drive into LA you're going to have to either take US 1 all the way in or go up to Thousand Oaks and take the 101 in. It's just so far from anything that it would drive me nuts after a while.

I love this place and now my favourite of all. The warmth of the place despite the large size. The living plants/water features makes it so relaxing and zen. I would never want to leave. 😊

I'm not typically a modern home type of person, but I really like this house. Those views of the mountain alone are incredible, but when you also have amazing ocean views and beachfront it's the best of both worlds. I have to agree with Michael on this one.

Of all the modern homes you've visited, this is definitely my favorite. How can it not be? But I still prefer houses that are a little more Mediterranean, colonial or Victorian. You don't visit them often but every time, they are magical. This one, though, is a dream, to say the least.

I don't usually like minimalist houses, but this one is an exception. It manages to be simplistic without being too sterile and boring. There's a kiloton of features that make this mansion a veritable private eutopia, 2 theaters (as if one wasn't enough), several offices, that courtyard jungle garden, great separation from neighbors, and closets akin to boutique clothing and accessory stores (complete with big windows) with spaces not only for clothes, but jewelry and eyewear too! Not to mention that swimming pool! Can you imagine swimming overlooking the ocean and hills every day you're in residence? Sounds blissful to me! Also, what child hasn't wanted an entire room dedicated to candy? The phrase ''Kid in a candy shop'' is true here.

Every time Michael and Adam do a mansion tour I'm always tuning in, I watch his other videos as well but everythime there's a mansion one I'm usually one of the first 10k or so, I'd like everyone of them on here but as I use my tv KZfaq app it doesn't make it easy. Anyway I like a lot of the mansions they go to but this one for me is probably the best so far for me, all the others are amazing but I usually find there's a few things I don't like, for example size of a room, colour scheme, layout or even design. But I have to admit this one is perfect, I absolutely love it! My only thing I'd change is the size of the screen in the cinema room, I'd make it an Imax but other than that love it! 😍 Just wish I had the money to buy it because I absolutely would! Keep up the great work you two, love watching your videos, can't wait for the next!

Well if you thought 50 million is a bargain, it's actually selling for $26 million at the moment. At $26 million it's actually in line with all the comparable homes in that isolated neighborhood in Malibu.

I'm in agreement with many others. This is one of the best properties you've shown, and it is a home. You can keep "The One". Sooner live here any time. I have been in hotels that don't come anywhere near close to this. You cannot tell its structure is concrete. Loved it, and your presentation. Nice one guys. I didn't realise it was 35 minutes long, thoroughly enjoyable.

You showed many houses , and they were cool and nice but i never really had the feeling i wanted to live in such a place. But this house, is just amazing. By far the best yet, and i would really want to live in it. Absolutely perfect.
