Let this be a lesson to EVERYONE. You can’t love someone who doesn’t love themselves. They spend all their time running from the truth. Oh they may find moments where they’re lost in your embrace but it’s always fleeting. Sooner or later they’ll run again. But it’s not you they’re running from. It’s themselves. And they always have to take themselves with them.

The "STRAIGHT" life they try to live with a wife and kids, and a family approving of their "NORMAL" life, is really the alternative lifestyle (for them). It's a stage life, they are acting out. And most of those men end up secretly in the gay bars on a Friday and Saturday night, looking for a man-sex fix, to keep them satified...or even having an affair, or many affairs with men over the years. You can't live a lie and be honest and health for that wife and kids, but especially to yourself.

The producers of "Dynasty" didn't dare put Steven in a permanent same-sex relationship. During the 80's the religious right exerted much more pressure than they do now.

The new Dynasty is a re imaging of the older one. The original was in the 80s, when homosexuality was widely seen as a choice, a deviance, and unfit to be a parent. Claudia did have mental issues in the original. Steven married her to get custody of his son because a court would not grant him custody if he was single with his history of homosexuality.

I think both actors who played Stephen were good but the replacement Fallon was dreadful. Pamela Sue Martin was very good playing the Fallon charichter.

Typical "bisexual" hogwash. Those guys can't have it both ways. At some point, there will always be a child, a hurt wife or something that will stand in the way of the gay guy getting the love he deserves.
