10 ай бұрынIn this video the 6.0 Bros let you know exactly what went wrong with the 6.0 Powerstroke. It was a really easy fix thankfully. The 6.0 powerstroke build is almost back on the channel where we will make a ton of videos on, but for now lets look at the 500hp 6.0 powerstroke build and what the slight issue was and what 6.0 powerstroke fixes we have left to do. It was a little concerning with the initial 6.0 powerstroke build issues but they are almost all fixed and this 6.0 powerstroke build is just about ready to go.

Have to stop driving mine. When hot with a trailer load on going down the road I've seen my coolant temp around 195 and my oil temp up to 232! She's plugged!

It does seem that way. Have you tested it unloaded at 65 down the highway?

Yes. Still gets above the 15 degree difference and seems to be lacking some power. Will probably go with a new oem oil cooler and egr delete. Exhaust is already straight piped with 4". Any suggestions as I'm new to these trucks other then watching alot of videos about them. Just want something dependable... Thanks brother!

@lonekiterrocky7453 highly recommend staying with an oem oil cooler. That is all I use on these trucks. If you have an oem oil egr cooler I would upgrade to a better one. Bullet proof diesel would be my pick. An egr delete wouldn't increase performance. Sure in the long haul they can add soot to the intake manifold but it isn't a massive amount. I just have to be caution on what I tell people. I would consider the bd diesel y pipe. You could have the start to a leaking y pipe on your truck which would cause decreased power. While you're doing this work I would consider new stand pipes, dummy plugs and stc fittings as these are common hpo leak spots.

Your probably talking about the GEM module i had an issue with the GEM where my radio, dash cluster, and dome lights and maybe few other things were intermittently failing or not going off. Yet Id try to find a open circuit and no luck. Turns out it was the little 2 wire switches in the doors getting gunked up an sticking or shorting out. they were a real motherfucker to change for me you take panels off and gotta do it blind and getting my hand in there was a bitch. They are like 50$ each

Been working up in Idaho last few months, got back and started dicking around with my 03' took it out Friday night racing around Sacramento and guess I ran her to hard Limped home in the morning. dropped one inj another on its way also think think in blew out my tq converter and who knows what else i broke lol FML

@hotrod6919 also Randy's transmission seems to be on top of their game as far as some of the best transmission and parts out there. Just incase you do need a torque converter

I'm pretty sure the I take tube was in the bed of the truck for a long time and that is what caused it.
