There is something just different the way a 6.0 pulls. I love my 6.7 don't get me wrong but my 6.0 especially modified is just on another level

Question... Your truck is in the shop for a head job. Cab is off.. If you want to pull your engine. Add stage 2 cam. Lifters. Bearings. Would it be better to go that route or just buy a short block? Financially. Labor wise? I have the heads from KDD ready to install. Odawgs Intake. Turbo. Ficm. All new sensors. New lpop. New front cover. New BulletProof diesel water pump. Tons of other parts just waiting in their boxes. I just don't know if I should tear this engine down or just order a short block and put all new parts on it. Labor wise it might be worth it to go that route? What you think?

I would get a quote for each. Personally if you're in that far a short block that is balanced and blueprints is a good idea in my opinion. Then they can also check valve recession and piston protrusion to make sure its good to go

@six0bros Thanks for the input buddy. I think the cost maybe pretty close. But maybe the mechanic may offer to put me pistons, rods and rings since they are pretty much right there anyways

If you buy a neglected shitbox 6.0... and completely mod it out and sell it while documenting everything on the channel would be 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

So I want to actually try and do something similar but basically make it a good reliable truck from suspension to bodywork put a nice sound system in a mild tow tune and then sell it. If I bought a really beat up one and went crazy on mods I would probably start regularly drag racing it.
