Some potato-related advice for anyone: 1. Stir-fried potatoes: To prevent the potatoes from browning, add a little vinegar (not for flavor). It lowers the pH and prevents oxidation. 2. Baked potatoes/wedges: For a thicker crisp layer on the exposed potato, try soaking in hot (but not boiling) water for 10 mins.

I would use a mandoline to cut the potatoes into matchsticks. Very easy and also fast.

Just tried the potato balls! Turned out great for one of my first times cooking! The string cheese is really stretchy and yummy while melted, I used Panko bread crumbs and it was amazing !

Hey thanks for the recipes aaron,,the cheese ball looks so tempting 🤤 Btw, for the potato croquette recipe,, canned corned beef can be used instead of plain minced meat,, It's already flavourful and been cooked before,,so theres no need need to heavily spice meat or the potato dough 😄 The dish is called perkedel daging here in my country

I adore his personality and Claire is a lucky woman, taste tester is easier than cooking it, but his recipes seem easy to replicate. I learned a lot about that potato starch after the blended potato for the potato pancake.

@@LadyVoldemort how do you know how much she eats? you don't see her eating the full plate, and a full video could be done during a full week. but even if its a day you only see her eating a little bit of the food he makes, and you dont know how much she eats on the other days. if she only ate what you can see her putting in her mouth in a video during a full week she would be looking like someone with anorexia.

In Australia the word "Rooting" means something else altogether. As in, "Is she rooting him?" Meaning, "Is she having sex with him?" As an Aussie, knowing that is a slang word, it kind of makes it hard to look at your shirt. 🤣🤣🤣🤣😲🥺

It depends on what other words are involved. I'm from NZ so rooting can also mean sex. Rooting someone means sex but rooting FOR someone means you're cheering them on

The way you cut potatoes for 감자볶음 reminds me exactly of my mom. She cooked her whole life, first for her younger siblings and then for her kids, and her knife cuts were like a pro
