We need a forum where we can discuss our pooping problems. When we have issues we read comments and reviews of products and ask questions and nobody answers. Kind of like AA meetings. JMO

Thank you Dr. Chung. You are amazing! I always find your videos to be helpful and informative. I've learned a lot from you already. I wanted to see if you could make more videos on how to interpret mixed consistency poop. I've watched your video on comet poop, but I'm not necessarily experiencing that rush of poop after the hardness. I'm experiencing a lot of BMs that are first a 1 on the bristol stool chart, then goes into a 3-6 (depending on the day). I can't find anyone else that speaks to mixed consistency poop and I'd be grateful to hear your thoughts. Thank you.

I always feel so backed up with gas after a bowel movement when my hemorrhoids are swollen and I get tons of pressure in my rectum. It goes away after half a day though.

i have been living with ibs-c and gut motility problems and spend 15 minutes on the throne. i have extreme anxiety if i dont go after 2-3 days, since its never every day. i have au-dhd (autism/adhd) which lead to my eating disorder, arfid (avoidant restrictive food intake disorder), which i have had my whole life. so many dont understand how painful it is both physically and mentally, let alone for an anxious neurodivergent person. i just wish i could heal. and im only 18.

honestly, i have “chronic” constipation (im 17, had since i was a child so its all i know), i def dont poop enough but i dont experience any of these things? i hate to think this is my body’s normal….

Take 800mg ibuprofen n release is worked for me it didn’t hurt when I had a bile movement

I dont know if someone already asked that question but i really need help, i eat a lot of fiber supplements but still when i poop its soooo thick that its hard to pass! Not sure how could a stool get really thick as i imagine the inside is not really that wide:( i thought fiber is supposed to make ever smoother, i have a fissure so having a very large stool is a nightmare that i dont know how to treat it… i drink so much water and eat fruit and fiber supplements? Should i have stool softener! Could i take Restorlax everyday until i heal!! Plz advice 🥲

You need to drink enough liquid ( prefer water) after fiber supplement otherwise it will be your enemy for constipation. I stopped taking fiber supplement specially metamucil bcs of the same problem you addressed. Just eat natural one i like steam broccoli and avocado. And a cup of warm prune juice will help you to poop.

Hello Dr Chung thank you so much for all the information on your KZfaq channel. I have tenesmus and levator ani syndrome with severe spasms. I also have what is called a lazy colon. I have had this my whole life my mother also suffered from this. I got the tenesmus, levator ani syndrome and spasm after 2 surgeries for anal prolapse the 2nd one was an emergency surgery because I had torn the stitches from the first surgery. After the 2nd surgery I noticed right away that my tailbone was hurting. After the surgery my pelvic floor muscle tightend up and I could not walk from my bedroom to my kitchen without having the feeling I had to have a bowel movement. I would go to the toilet and nothing would happen. Until I started to walk around again. I would get a spasm that would wake me up during the night because it's like a Charlie horse. Oxycodone is the only medicine that has helped I don't feel I have to go all the time and it stops the pain. However I now have to take medications that neutralize the narcotic in my intestines and they are extremely expensive. Do you have any tips? Or can you make a video on these topics.
