65mm Blazar Remus 1.5x Anamorphic Lens + Moment 1.33x Anamorphic Adapter = 2x Squeeze Factor

3 ай бұрынI did a quick living room test with the 65mm Blazar Remus plus the Moment 1.33x adapter for a 2x squeeze factor and S35 coverage. It was shot between T2 and T2.8, S35 4:3. It can cover S35 3:2 but it becomes 3:1 desqueezed and it's just too hard to pull focus like that on a 5 inch monitor. S35 6:5 would have given me 2.4:1, but I wanted to show more of the edge character, so I met in the middle with the 4:3 for a 2.66:1.

This is exactly what test i needed. I have the moment adapter and thinking about purchasing the remuses

looks really cool. I've wondered about crossing the adapter at 90 degrees to end up with a nearly 16:9 image that would retain a lot of the anamorphic quality of the high squeeze (minus the stretched backgrounds). is this idea kinda crazy?
