The car is a deeply meaningful rolling project, a 1966 Pontiac Beaumont, that was owned by the late Kelly Burton (1947 - 2021) of Vancouver, BC. The 329 will be mated to a Tremec TKX.

Could you tell me what size rods and what pistons you used. Im getting ready to dive into building one

Absolutely. The rods are from Scat and fit an LS engines. They are 6.1” long, part number 26100927. The pistons are from Icon and have a 1.443 compression height, part number IC9941-060 I hope that helps!

Definitely helps! One more thing. How much was the block decked, and how thick of a head gasket?

@@quentinshumate9481 To be precise, the stack height is 9.043”. The deck was milled minimally to 9.017”. So with .061” head gaskets the quench is .035”.
