We are pleased to say it's a little different at CE Performance Crate Engines today! Join Keziah Shumey, youngest daughter of Steven Shumey, as she learns to record video and audio with an in-car camera rig. During the drive in the '66 Beaumont, with the 329 SBC and Tremec TKX, with Klint Burton at the wheel and shifter, and while shifting though 1st to 4th (we don't get to 5th gear this time) we discuss many aspects of cinematography-from perspective lines, under/over-exposure, focus, aperture, to audio levels. We learn as we go and do. And many subtle personal and channel subscriber references are made along the way!

I commend you on your style of replying to comments, and I must say I've never seen anything about this method before. Possibly, someone has done this before, but if they have its news to me. I appreciate your efforts in taking the channel to all new perspectives, and in which it should help y'all's business and channel grow expeditiously, I do believe. Since you do have such tall differential gearing, if it were me, I'd opt for a tighter ratio for 1st through 3rd gears. That would make it much quicker off the line but still keep it very economical as well as a nice mellow road car. I do love how the old small blocks rev to the stratosphere so effortlessly, and y'all have widened the power band very effectively, it sounds like from listening to her sing through the tall gears. Very sweet ride, I'd say, and maybe a bypass on the cooling system to the heads until it comes up to temperature would solve the overly efficient cooling issue you're experiencing. That way, when you need the extra cooling capability, it'll be automatically switched as needed. Maybe a sensor in your heads could open a solenoid valve, allowing the flow to the heads to open, cooling them effectively, but maintaining the temperature for the engine to burn fuel at the most efficient ratio. The camera operator did surprisingly well considering the environment she was working in, and the driver's use of the gas pedal and ever changing gear selection accelerating then down shifting, decelerating just as quickly as he had just excelerated. While at the same time giving her instructions or questioning her about the camera. She did far better than most would have under idea circumstances. So, I believe she earned the respect of all those who watched the video because of the way she remained calm the whole time and continued recording.

Timothy Milam, thank you so much for your comments, encouragement, and appreciation. We're certainly figuring out our "thing" each time we hit record, and we are glad that something is resonating with you. And all your suggestions re gearing (currently 3.08's, most likely an 8.2" 10 bolt, that came with the stock 230 L6 and power glide trans) and cooling-all will be addressed in the near future. And... last but certainly not least: Keziah, on camera! She was stellar: catching the camera as it tipped (more than once; and we even braced it!), practicing and maintaining focus distance and level, and while monitoring sound, all while keeping a very cool calmness! We are so proud of her! Thank you for your support!

Beaumont-a Pontiac-style front grill, GTO/Tempest dash, Chevelle body lines (with some subtle differences). Thank you for commenting, Capt. Desmo!

Haha! For us Canucks, colour (the "correct" way to spell it, eh?) it's either red n' white, or black n' white, and maybe the occasional black n' blue. We so appreciate your comments!
