This video features the Initial Frame Rack Pull and Removal of Damaged Body Panels of the "Crashed but not Dead" Garnet Red 69 Camaro Z/28.This series features a second 69 Z/28 restoration.
This is not part of the Le Mans Blue Z/28 being restored on this same channel.
These Video series are produced & presented by Peter Rose, digitalpizza.com & KZfaq Channel, Digitalpizza, on the Frame off Restoration Process of classic Japanese motorcycles and classic American muscle cars including Honda CB 750, Honda CBX, CB1100F, CB900F and 1967 thru 1969 Camaro Z/28 & SS Cars
Thanks to Simon at Auto Center Marin for preforming the metal & body work and ultimately the Paint Work on both these Z/28s and all my Motorcycle Bodywork.

You absolutely made the right call to save the car! There is no way on gods green earth I would have let that car to become a parts car. Excellent stuff, looking forward to more content!!

Me and my dad used to build the old Camaros back in the day he's the one that taught me my mechanics we bought a few of them that were wrecked and all they needed was minor work fenders and doors and sometimes they needed motors paint jobs and we bought a few of them fix them up and sold them also he liked the 56 Chevys cars Impalas and the older pickups he was always working on something God rest his soul now I sure do miss him

wish I had the opportunity to see Mr. Marin back when my 68 RS needed bodywork many years ago. Really great that this car is saved and not crushed at some junkyard. Love this video series!

Well it's good to see it being worked on . Good job l didn't hold my breath ! 😁 lt's ironic that the trunk floor is the first panel to be cut out , not through damage but rust ! Over here in the UK air chisels are banned in bodyshops and have been for 30 + years. Pete, next time your recording ask if you have the radio turned off . You're fortunate that you can still obtain most of the panel work and l guess at a reasonable price ? ( Maybe you've had these stored away for some while ) Anyway it's great to see her coming back to life ! Thanks for sharing .

Outstanding work!! You California boys do a great job. Totally agree with saving this car. You don't use a 69 Z/28 for a parts car no matter the condition. I really look forward to more progress. Thought you would be putting the Lemans Z back together by now.

good to see you have someone willing to repair it i had a holden HQ ute that was as badly damaged as the camaro i fixed it by getting it pulled square then do a cut and shut front firewall section to repair most of the damage

I had a 72 Chevy Nova back in the day got hit in the quarter panel real hard so I went out in search of a body found a nice straight SS body and put all my parts into it after that I had a really nice car and I had an old body that I cut up for scrap it was much faster that way and cheaper

Good to see you again! Question when will you do the follow up on the Carb installation for the CBX 1000? I just got my Carbs back from Mike Dixon in Arizona and it's kicking my but trying to get them back on. My strategy is using a heat gun to heat the intake manifold rubbers up then push push push them carb on. What's your thoughts?

@@digitalpizza1 I did, I had a rubber hammer, 2x4, and pry bar but it's not working for me. The Company in New York told me that maybe my intake manifold rubbers might be for an 1981 with an angle rather than for my 1980. So I returned them for another set. 🤔

Hi Paul, I have an updated video on that bike and the 2nd CBX being restored together that will be posted later this week. Then more videos on those bikes coming regularly until they are finished. I had been waiting for parts and other outside services to be done i.e. machine shop etc. Thanks

We are in the process of moving the car to the frame machine, then the jig for straightening and spot welding. I will be posting a video on that whole process as it progresses. It may be a couple of weeks away, but it will be an exciting video. Then after that is done and the car is all spot welded together, the bodywork and paint will start.
