I have to say, Brian’s customer service is the best. I bought custom tunes a while back about 4 months ago and have been having problems with my Transmission. He’s held off on my tunes but the communication is amazing. That’s what usually does it for me. I can already tell he’s very humble and great with his customers. Brian is da man!

Have run all three on my rig. PHP, Brians, and 1023 tunes and it's hard to even describe how much better the custom tunes feel in the truck compared to PHPs. Its night and day. Ran Brian's tunes for a year and they were great. Currently running 1023s and I also really like them. Top two tuners on the market for sure!

I don’t even have a 7.3. But I was looking at the ts6 and your hydra video of the install on the white dully. But now when ever I get a 7.3 I’m getting a hydra just cause theirs more options.

get with the times 7.3 dudes 😎Hydra php chip custom tunes all day people ..... choose your lifestyle .....buy a nice of set of 400/400s and the biggest turbo possible and a nice duel bend clutch and let her rip ;) ... I have a bone stock 7.3 powerstroke. I heard I should get rid of the fuel bowl kit. And they also told me to get a regulated return. What's the best that you recommend? For stock ? Plan on doing 1.5 stage full force diesel injector later on. With 30 % nozzles. Any recommendations?

So I just purchased a 95 f350 7.3 with a 6 position chip. Truck has had many owners the guy I purchased it from knows nothing about the chip and neither do I. So what are my options? I’d like to understand it and also would like to use it without potentially harming my truck. Any advice on what to do would be very helpful thank you

I have a 96 7.3 2wd I am running a wicked wheel deleted wastegate and have wastegate plugin to fool computer run a some but next is tuning in pulling 25 mpg empty and 21 with about 5000 lbs trailer weight I don’t want to get crazy cause it’s a work truck but what should I do next

Hey man just bought the hydra chip and got it delivered. All the mods I have on my 99.5 7.3 is an S&B CAI and a straight pipe. Should I still get the jelibuilt tunes or should I get the jelibuilt tunes if I upgrade my fuel system, HPOP, etc. Thanks for the video!

You can run the tunes for what you have now and always have them changed when you change things in the future!

I recently put the Hydra on my 97 CCLB4x4 and love it. Just running Hydras tunes for now but did speak with Jelick about some new ones. I guess my question is; do the box tunes or any "mild" tunes have a negative affect on the reliability/longevity of my truck? The Hydra feels too good to be true lol.

The only reliability issue that could arise would be wearing out a transmission due to a lead foot (not that I've done that before lol). It should feel powerful!

Sweet video. Brian's got some awsome tunes i got them for free from cncfab when i got my chip injectors and turbo. I do want to have him tweak some things. Whats the best way to get ahold of him or to have that done?

Hydra has the best options for tuners and ease of tune updates. Tunes can be emailed instead of removing the chip and shipping it back for updates!

Brandon just bought a chip from Bryan deffinately a difference in timing. Im curious when u first bought your chip was everything to your satisfaction or did you have to get revisions to dial in like you want. Does Bryan require like a data log to revise his tunes? Im thinking imma have to have him reivise a few calibrations.

Best thing to do is tell him what you’re looking for, more throttle responses, firmer/softer shifts, etc. I’ve even emailed him videos of how the truck runs to show him. He’s good about dialing it for you.

Hey Brandon, black_5oh here. Did you install your own tuner or did you have a shop install it? I’m pretty good with doing stuff my self but have heard you can mess up the pins on the pcm’s. Also do you recommend purchasing the extended cable?

Dominic Festian what’s up man! Did it myself, it’s very straight forward. Just be thorough when you do it, the directions with the chip are great. Let me know if you have any questions. I don’t have an extended one, it’s worth the extra money if you want one.

Do you mind making a vid on what you did to fix your camber with your 2” leveling kit I had a 2.5” and I put camber bushings in and still had bad camber so I took leveling kit off and want it back on with out camber

Unfortunately having alot of problems after install. Having a low power hesitation on any tune higher than 40 hp when wot. Looking at getting the jelibuilt tunes to try and get it figured out.

I have 421,000 on my 97 7.3. Well maintained. Do you suggest shying away from a tuner with that many miles? And yes, I am a lead foot with it.

As long as you have regular maintenance done and the engine is healthy, stock injectors shouldn’t hurt the engine even with tunes!

Do you have the ability if you buy that chip to modify a tune with that software? Or if you have a ts and a chip burner what software would you use to modify a tune to your liking?

Hey! A couple of your videos!! Nice truck you got! I have a question! I own a 1995 7.3 powerstroke obs, and i want to upgrade the turbo, can a change the turbo to a 2000 f450 turbo! Its way bigger than mine but i don't know if its gonna make a difference! An other question to put that hydra tune or chip, do I have to upgrademy injectors? I hope u can answer my question keet up bro

You don't need injectors for tuning.. The tuning will just make what you have run as best it can. The turbo can be made to fit. There are a few videos on YT of guys doing them. Main problem I've seen guys have is the firewall. The wastegate on the 99 up turbo is kinda in the way. Other than that I think it's fairly easy

I recently got a hydra, DieselSite ball bearing turbo, and 180/30 injectors.. I'm excited to see how she does with my current mods. Which are a fuel bowl delete w/adjustable fuel pressure, 4in tymar intake, 17* HPOP, upgraded HPOP hoses and E99 intercooler

@@chrismoll5250 I do not.. The DieselSite turbo I went with is just a drop in so there was no need for any modifications. I'd start by simply placing the turbo on and see.. It shouldn be kinda straight forward. Guys even get the variable geometry turbos off the 6.0 to work. The only problem I see with slapping one on is that wastegate.. And that can be solved with a little message from a bfh lol
