The past 20 years is basically a rehash of what the hood was doing in the 80’s and 90’s. Skinny to baggy, kicks, Champion gear, Timbs, hoodies, etc.

Pretty much, dont forget Dickies and various other accesible brands. We in the hood used to create these outfits with a 20 dollar bill but now everyone put a higher price on themselves(Champion comes to mind).

the odd part is...im 85 born and i dont agree any1 over early 1991 born is even in my generation. cats born in 1991 in 1997 were watching the new bullshit ninja turtles that dropped that yr as 5-6yr old kids and i was well exceeding the original tmnt, the original nintendo and sega genesis and early day playboy magazine's and even Beavis & Butthead by 1997 and moving onto other things like on the verge of high speed internet soon while they werent even in the 4th grade yet. For awhile there back in the day I wouldn't even categorize an 89 baby in my same lane or era, 88 was even pushing it. I feel like 1988 is barely my generation because im barely a 1981 generation's generation. Who makes these rules anyways? Who defines these generations. Forreal it should be 1981-1989ish-1990 max cause anybody born after that isn't at all relatable to the way we all grew up. They werent adjusting the TV to channel 99 for porn or watching Kid & Play's House Party or Married with Children. These rules are bullshit

Anyway just a quick correction in regards to the comment you made about the Low Profile” fitted hats being a NEW compromise brands (new era) have made by combining dad hat and fitted hats high profile….. But that’s not accurate….see up until 2004 low profile hats was the normal/standard for all on field…..it’s not a new thing…. I used to be manager at champs back then & I remember how upset customers were that they did away with the low profile…. Myself included……which is why I legit took every yankee we had 😂….
