A tip for sharing music: don't just randomly send songs with zero explanation or context. that doesn't come off as flirting, at least to most adults. give me a REASON as to why you're sharing that song or artist. make sure I am open to listening to it. and pay attention to if there's reciprocation. are you asking me to send songs I love in return? this kind of flirting is very give and take, not just spamming random music you love. it will backfire if you don't put thought and connection into it, like most things. The #1 important thing to pay attention to is how the person you're flirting with is reacting to you/talks to you- which I know can be difficult through text sometimes. if they are not showing interest, you need to back off and let go after a time. if you're not sure, being straightforward is good because you should always look for someone who is open and honest about their feelings. if they're unsure for too long, you deserve someone who IS sure of themselves. be good to others as you'd be good to yourself and vice versa.

I still don't know why, but he did the same to my friend before me so, I just don't talk to him much either 😑

There's too much room for people to hide in anonymity. Oh, these tips can be very effective, thank you! I've got a little question and I can't find a way of answering it She's always busy (she's doing a business degree while I'm studying IT development), and we live really far apart (~5 hours by car). Now, I can't lie, I don't spend all day doing homework (it seems 'simple', logical and natural, it's just that I don't need to study as much at the moment), whereas she's always studying, pushing herself every time. Now, we've talked a lot every summer since covid19, but during school, not so much. Still, recently she sent me messages (I'm on holiday this week, she's just finished her holiday) that were quite flattering, I can't lie. She wants us to go to an amusement park this summer (now that I've got a car and we've got money, it's much easier!), and I'm all for it, but because of the stress of her school, if I don't text her first and we don't talk then, she just doesn't reply. I know it might be stupid, but I don't know if I should continue, check in, just talk, or stop. PS: I'm really enjoying talking to her (and I think she is too) and I'm not forcing myself, but I'm wondering if in this situation I should stop.

I feel like this is a safe place to share. I have questions on this topic. So, a bit of backstory, I am in a long distance relationship. It is going well. My only thing is that they asked of me to respect a boundary put in place. The boundary is only texting on three days per week. I feel like we can't fully connect this way. I have respected their boundary fully. I just feel as though I would like to have a bit more communication with them. What would be the nicest way to talk about this with them?

If you are happy with that then fine? Personally when I've been in the situation, I haven't dropped that person, that is probably not what they want! But I have just gently tailed off the friendship, and I suggest you then look for someone who was appreciate a closer relationship with you!
