I need to expand my food plots as my plots get eaten to the ground fast, however I have woods all over and basic equipment like chainsaw and it is ALOT of work cutting and clearing more plots. Whew

I have that same issue in NW WI. That's why I just keep chipping away at it year after year when I get the time. Good luck!

Do you have a minimum size plot before you split them in half with brassica and some other green base? Mine is 1/4 acre and I am expanding it this year but the expansion will likely need a few years of soil building before I can plant any brassica. Total size will be close to 1/2 acre. Is 1/4 acre large enough for the splitting of the plot

Yeah, I had a similar plot that was 1/4 acre that I eventually expanded to 1/2 acre. I always split the planting in it. I even did it in 2 narrow strips as the plot was longer than it was wide, instead of doing half and half on the larger side chunks.
