Stock ride height is atrocious, ended up cutting the stock springs to my '99. At stock, it literally rides like a horse.

On my 2004 GT, I would have to say 1. The trunk button is in the fucking glove box 2. The cup holders being in the way of 2nd gear (The placement of the shifter doesn't bother me) 3. The fact that if my car is wet and I crack a window, all the water will run and drip right onto my window buttons 4. The stance. The car sits too level. I would have wanted the back end to be a little higher than the front to give it that classic muscle car look. But that's getting fixed next summer Other than that, I can't really complain. The interior doesn't bother me at all. It's basic and to the point. An aux port on the stereo (Mine is the 6cd changer) would have been nice, but my fm transmitter works fine

I have a 1999 35th anniversary mustang with the 3.8l v6 in the laser red and I threw a supercharger on it and it changed the entire car. Love it

You know what would fix the shifting with the cupholders? Get an automatic ;)

When you lower your car don't waste your money on a AAA membership they won't tow a car that has been lowered . The CD player was in addition to the radio because CD players were not even available just a few years prior , not good ones anyway it took a long time for the industry to make them shockproof.

be glad your cup holder actually holds drinks. my 95 trans am has the most worthless cup holder I have ever seen and it's the only one in the car. That's why if drinks don't have sealed lids I make ppl throw em out before they can get in. Haha

I also have the 2003 and the cup holder is further back but still not a good spot lol.

I hate all the same things about my 00 Gt except for the 2 valve engine ,it takes a beating and sounds awesome! I got 165k ,I have 2 buddies one with an 01 cobra and another with 04 mach 1 both thier engines blew with little over 100k , so while their cars are in the shop I'm still tearing up the streets lol good video!

I would have to disagree with your 2v complaint, you could obtain same power levels as the 4v a lot easier than you think. Some forged internals and some boost and you could run with terminators no joke. Plus 2v stuff is cheaper and easier to get

I disagree with the number 5. I've got a 99 v6 with the mach 460. It's not bad for it's time. It's got 4 tweeters and 4 woofers. Before I upgraded to a sub I actually enjoyed listening to it, but that's just my opinion haha. Love this car dude! Looking to upgrade to a GT in the next few years

Little ignorant on the stereo system, yeah they probably could of upgraded, but the tech wasnt all up to par for most motor companies to make stereo systems affordable in terms of production. But yeah everything you've mentioned is about the same that I hate with my '98. Cup holders being #1.

2v last way longer and dont have the blow put problem that the 3v and 4v engines do. 2V are rugged and can be modified to get much more hp. Not sure for hood scoop on any fuel injected cars..really no need.

I'm wondering why you ever bought the car. You didn't notice any of this when you looked the car over? Then again I did the same thing, I wanted a mustang and went and bought a 95 last of the 5.0 cars, even though I knew I didn't like it. Mustangs have a way of making the driver think they are faster than they are, you get caught up in the sound. But anyway your car looks good, make the scoops functional, and put a turbo, supercharger, or nitrous on it.

You can get a center console from I believe a 94-95 mustang that has a cupholder that comes out of the center console and it's very convenient. I fucking hate my 98 mustang cupholders.

I use to have a 2001 for mustang and i am surprised you didn't mentioned or included in your Hate about Stang list on how Mustangs has a HORRIBLE heavy clutch system. Maybe you replaced yours, but from the Stangs i have driven so far from 00 to 03, their clutch system sucks. It is heavy, and the gear shifting is horrible. For my stang there were times where i had to shift from 4th gear to Reverse just so i can reverse my Stang on occasions. And from what i read i am not the only one facing this issue.

Hey Derek, I could possible provide some light on why some of things on the mustang are the way they are. First with scoops, back in 1994/95 the mustang had real side scoops and vents on the hood. If you actually go look at burnout videos of these older models you can see smoke coming out of them which is fairly interesting. Also for the cup holder it was more of James Bond style cup holder that slide out from inside the console. I believe Ford cup holder near the shifter just to update console for a fresher look but it seems like its more challenging from what you showed in your video. The mach 460 has pretty decent sound but the split din stereo was good for the 90's only, they should of updated earlier like in 2001+ models. Lastly, and I believe this whole heartedly is that Ford went cheap with New Edge in certain area's. They do not have low oil indicator light which is in 96 which helps protect the engine as they wear, and they went cheap on certain parts like chain guides/metal components for the motor. Overall, this car is a blast to build up correctly if your up for the challenge. I have 96 GT and 02 GT Vert so I can see where Ford went cheap in certain areas and improved in others.

The radio does blow, but in 99 really only luxury brand cars had AUX. you didn't see too many base models of any car with AUX especially standard. Hell I don't think they were standard in all cars til like 2010 maybe.

Hey bro just bought a 2004 mustang gt the guy told me about it having acceleration problems so i bought it for cheap, did oil change spark plugs cleand the maf sensor new purge cannister valve done everything that people tell me could be wrong with it still nothing i know theres a lot of people with mustangs in your channel any suggestions on what it could be i mean car only got 60 thousand miles on it and i cant hit the throttlw hard because it hesitates only when im cruising is good and that aint fun lol
