I can't stand people who use such offensive words to refer to others. The issue is mainly that author didn't even attempt to give a binary identity, such as "transwoman". "Transgender" isn't a gender, it's just a descriptor for someone who doesn't identify with the gender they were assigned at birth. Just to put it into perspective, the author could've said "a cisgender and a transgender." Doesn't that sound weird and vague as hell? (cisgender means you identify with the gender you were assigned at birth-- born with a vagina, you are assigned female/girl).

That’s funny, that story sounds like it could be about me but my names not aiden and my fiancé hasn’t lost contact with her friends, she’s going to school to be a teacher, she’s student teaching AND is a nanny so she barely has time for me, I’m just lucky because we live together.
