I am totally sorry for what happened to you, beautiful. I honestly don't understand why guys have to do that. ? What does it solve? What does it gain? Nothing, except a girlfriend or Fiance or wife , heartbroken and angry and betrayed. I know you I will never meet,. But, you would never had to worry about that with me. I have been a single man for 40 years. No lie. I wish today, that 40 years ago I would have gotten married, and wouldn't have made all the mistakes I made. Live in a city I can't stand and hate. Anyway, no woman deserves that sorry B S,. She or any don't deserve it. Just a message to you to say a kind thoughts about how beautiful you are. I know, you probably found a new man, are married now,. Great to hear you managed to get through this piece of trashes excuses. Take care,.

I guess someone found humor on being cheated on? I don't think it's a bit funny, I think it's bullshit. If I have to cheat on your spouse , you hate her or him. It's a total shame, to even think about it. Unbelievable, excuses on it. One many years ago, said they did it to see if they still had the , you know, but , who cares. If you have to do that? Never mind

I can't stand people who use such offensive words to refer to others. Whether you find a person attractive, beautiful, and (for lack of a better term) valuable, don't forget that person is a human being. Nobody is perfect looking and without defects and there's only so much we can do to change and improve our outside shell. Granted I am a believer in improving ourselves as much as we can and do whatever makes you happy but attacking the physical appearance and material things says more about the person who makes such remarks than anyone else. Those who feel the need to bring others down by talking down on them and judging and feeling in some way superior are deserving of pity imo. We should show compassion and empathy to others. People easily forget that what you do and give to others will be done and given to you in due time. So... Yea

Can't stress this enough : poly relationships are not meant to be one-sided in any direction. It is a circle, it is not healthy for one person to be the center of attention. You should like everyone in the relationship if you want to try a poly relationship. I hear so many stories of "poly" relationships that are unhealthy systems of abuse/manipulation. Misconceptions can really put you in bad situations!

Just to put it into perspective, the author could've said "a cisgender and a transgender." Doesn't that sound weird and vague as hell? That’s funny, that story sounds like it could be about me but my names not aiden and my fiancé hasn’t lost contact with her friends, she’s going to school to be a teacher, she’s student teaching AND is a nanny so she barely has time for me, I’m just lucky because we live together. We don’t have an abusive relationship whatsoever and I get along with 90% of the people I meet. Yes I have a lot of tattoos, I also work at tattoo shops but she got tattoos on her own. I actually kinda would’ve liked if she didn’t, we fell in love when she only had one tattoo but it’s her body and under her control. Nobody controls this woman. It’s funny how just because she doesn’t love you the person she fell in love with that is very much in love with her back is this big abusive villain when I’ve never made profiles to spy on someone that told me to leave them alone because I started making them uncomfortable and trying ruin their happiness. Even if this isn’t about us you still seem like the creep to me. If a woman decides that she doesn’t love you you have no right to do anything you’ve done (spying and putting a story on the internet) except respect her and move on and find your own. if someone doesn’t love you the best thing they could do is leave you because staying even though it makes YOU happy it isn’t fair for anyone. Get over it and be a good human. And if this is who I think it is that wrote this.... Grow up. Maybe she’s happy with me because I respect her decisions. Even if she decides to leave me one day. I’d be broken hearted but I let her be happy. You sound to me more like the controlling manipulative abuser my friend. I’m glad she’s not with you still. You even creep ME out.

Story number 6 is a great example of a guy who is still pinning for a romantic relationship with his friend (ex) and is oblivious to the ways in which his pinning negatively effects any real chance at a friendship post romance. He insinuates the assumptions he makes about his Ex's new boyfriend are either fears, or obvious, yet all I can see is a manipulative dude hoping his assumptions about the man he's jealous of are true, that way he can be back front and center with his Ex and continue with their dysfunctional "friendship" where he limits competition for her attention under the guise of concern. Im not saying the guy telling the story is aware of his "nice guy" manipulations, but his friend (Ex) is and that's why he was (not soon enough) ejected from her life.

In other words, he picked her for her looks and flirtation/sexiness, then acts like that’s all women. No. That is her. And she has every right to be that way without “falling in love” with you; if you want a more committed or serious relationship, then try pursuing the type of woman who puts friendship and long-term relationships first.
@AdamGoldbach

AE Edwards I wasn’t making an assumption about the type of women whom he may have dated because that can become an extremely inflammatory subject as some people will see it as blaming women for his behavior. Who knows what kind of women he dated. I was simply stating pretty much what you wrote and that’s the fact that his shitty behavior isn’t excused simply because someone treated him shitty. Anyone who condemns an entire gender based on their experiences with only a small number of them is both foolish and immature. That holds equally true for both genders. Bottom line, I agree with you: he chose the wrong person to care about and that sucks, but it’s no excuse to hurt others who had nothing to do with the situation. It simply perpetuates the vicious cycle and I can’t stand people who act like that.

The story about the polyamorous relationship with people "competing for her attention, manipulated into maintaining Natalie's lavish lifestyle" hit a little too close to home. It reminded me of the only friendship that went bad for me, and like in the story, it was the petty self-absorbed bitch who ended it. She didn't need my pity or my begging her to take me back in retrospect, but even still, I use it as evidence that people are cruel and manipulative when people try to convince me humans are inherently good.

The first story reminds me of a guy I knew with schizophrenia. Had to talk him down from thinking people had broken into his house.

The guy in story 1 obviously has paranoid schizophrenia, and it's not his fault. I often notice some of the "creepy guys" that are acting weird have mental health problems, e.g emotion regulation issues due to trauma, BPD or obsessive-compulsive behaviors or talk to themselves to ease anxiety. People should educate themselves before they judge, even though I completely understand it can be scary.

I instantly thought that as well. Clearly he was suffering from psychosis, whether it's tied to schizophrenia or not we don't know, but I did feel bad for him in that sense. I hope he got the help he needed and didn't hurt anyone along the way.

@@Landa88 the best way is to say 'a transgender person' or 'a trans person.' saying 'a transgender' has similar implications as saying 'the gays' or 'the blacks'. it comes off sounding dehumanizing, even if that wasnt the intention. hope that makes sense, its subtle and hard to put into words

First story, there is no reason for this guy to be in a federal prison unless he committed a hostage taking and took them over state lines, otherwise he would just be in state prison.

"Oh my god, I'm seeing the same guy over and over on a dating app, this is so bad" constantly judges him and other men in her life, invites him on a date, flakes out and blocks him but acts like he's the bad guy. the privilege of this person.
