Dude, I really wish I had this car over my 2016 Genesis Coupe 3.8. My goal is 500whp as a daily, but my car can't handle that without a built engine. It is frustrating. Cjay Sabino just blew his Remnant Performance turbo kit Genesis Coupe 3.8 after 7,200 miles. I was watching his videos to see how long it would last. He only reached 475whp on stock engine, which is impressive for these 3.8 cars. Another guy reached the new record at 515whp and 444tq a few months ago. The 2.0 are more capable of handling higher horsepower because they are designed for forced induction boost. Brian Paul had a 700whp Genesis Coupe 2.0 and BTR Racing has the 850whp 2.0. I have a cool looking car and it is stock, but the horsepower on stock engine is terrible. I am wondering if I should save money and trade for the new Supra or 2023 Nissan Z. Or is the 370z a good option?

@@bikotheanimator6169 imo the supra is very tempting and won't take much to get it to 500whp vs a 370z. The new Z might be easier to reach those numbers as well. The new Z or the Supra. The Z is a well known platform vs the supra and reliability is also an issue. I think either or can handle some power 500+ without issues.

The new z isnt worth it bro neither is the 370z the 370 wont hold no more than 4-500 ish hp on stock block … the new z is basically a q50s redsport ( it does look nice though ) but i rather get the new suprah imo bec the b58 platform has proven superior than nissan .. coming from 350z owner

@@Bart-jf6cr yea i have a turbo HR g35 pushing 500 + on stock block lol could blow any moment but only thing imo that i love about the HR/VHR is their pretty cheap 2k at most for a low mileage if it does blow ( fingers crosses it dont lol )

Their built engines are around that much. Will to bet it was about 35k to 40k to build.

25k for the stage 2, I'm assuming around 7k for boost, and idk how much the trans and all supporting mods so you don't destroy your car with that much power. Plus price of car, exhaust, exterior mods. I'd say about 50k in total.. but kind of worth it.. a gtr goes for 100k.. you've basically got yourself a 4 door gtr for half the price

@Aidan Perrin a built trans can be around $4.2k, and a torque converter would be around $1k, and assuming he got his exhaust from SOHO, then $1.5k to $2k. This is why I always go back and forth on a corvette build or an Infiniti build. A C5 can be built for the cost of the engine alone.

This is information that was provided to us from vortech

You can get a very close figure with the air consumption (refer to SC compressor map for pressure vs CFM vs pulley speed) versus actual fuel consumption (fuel pressure vs injector pulse width vs fuel temp), and reference it to the tuned air/fuel ratio. From that number, you'll know what the engine is ingesting, and then see the power difference (or power loss) that it is supposed to make. Parasitic SC drag is different at 7 PSI vs 10 PSI vs 14 PSI, etc.. blower efficiency comes into play. Usually from what I see over the years, about 13-18% on average with this sized blower at this PSI which is about 100 WHP.
