That last A380 looked for sure to be running out of runway, but the telephoto lens might have been fooling us.

But perfectly executed! If I were a passenger and noticed that the runway was so far to the left of us, I would shit my pants though. Add the sudden hard turn and I'd also pee myself. And when that is done, I am probably so nauseous I would throw up once firm on the ground. With my luck I'd also get a runny nose from all the crying I had been doing once seeing all those mountains. Only my ears would not leak something lol. Well, gotta put those orifices to work, why don't ya. I now know where this could be a likely scenario. * Looks up flights to Colorado *

@johnstuartsmith
@johnstuartsmith Ай бұрын
You saw right. A380s, have huge flaps and land relatively slower. They have 22 wheels, with 16 brakes, which with the plane's weight and downforce, provides lots of traction, and braking ability. Thrust reversers on the outboard engines would hang so close to the edges of the narrower runways that the engines would possibly damage themselves by blowing dirt and gravel forward and ingesting it.
