Welcome back to my channel tonight.
We are taking a look at my Sony A95L QD-OLED TV and discussing some of the changes that I am making to move this TV to an area where it will be more appreciated in my home.

Excellent plan on the setup. I am 7.5 feet from an 83in A90j, with room to adjust. The immersion is great from that distance from me and the rest of the fam. My mother-in-law was the only one who needed adjusting because the largest TV she'd ever owned was 55in. She now has my old 65in Sony XBR,

Amazing big brother! 😃 thats actually what im going to do, and im painting my room lol, A95L 77” in my room for movies series PS5, and G4 in the living room for sports! And overall and so, Wow! 😍 keep it up and thanks for yesterday two videos it was amazing!, i will be watching movies in both but idk which is better in that regards! & i like the 16 to 9 ft + 6 inches more screen! Its for sure going to be something! 🔥 Love♥️😄

The G4 is swaying me far more than I expected . The retailer I want to get my 77 A95L from only has one left and idk if I’d be able to grab it by the time the renovation is done. I’m not a Samsung lad but had Samsung put their 8K new processor on the S95D I would’ve maybe considered too. While there are somethings about my X95J that annoys me and maybe somethings about the A95L that might end up annoying me , I don’t know if I can go to a tv without that quantum dot trilominous tech … I’m really annoyed that Sony won’t be releasing a QD OLED for 2024 because the way the S95D and G4 are shaping up , it would be a very competitive year

I think it’s a great choice to rearrange the area as sitting closer to the TV will give greater immersion. Now that you’re going bigger coupled with the shorter distance to the TV the immersion will be > 9000! Honestly, would love to see a video with your initial thoughts on the 83” G4 once you get it set up. This inspires me to continue to grind so I can be like you one day. Love the setup, homie.

I got this tv as well and I sit 7 feet away which looks dumb in my theatre room but it helped with the immersion so much I don’t care. Every time I watch this thing I’m still blown away it’s been 6 months.

Size? And if u say the 77", would u consider the 98" TCL home theater juggernaut? 98" is the smallest size B the Installer would ever use...... just sit closer, that's what my grandmother always says......😊

Great video TKK! I have a 65A80L but it's moving to the bedroom as I'm looking to go 77 or 83 for my living room. So far the 83G4 is looking like a beast. Can't wait to hear your thoughts once everything is setup. 9ft from the screen is going to be nice!

What happened to qd-oled? When it was first announced I thought I was supposed to knock w-oled out of the park. I purchased the s95b when it dropped because the price was just amazing and the way it displayed bright colors wasn’t like anything I had ever seen. But now it seems like w-oled isn’t being far off from that performance. Did something change with w-oled. I had the LG CX before the s95b for context.

I am an audio guy, DO NOT switch subs with front speakers. You want as much separation between the front channels as you can get. Or else the front audio channels may be to close to each other and you will lose the separation. Looks good as I see it bruda.

@@AllAboutTKKalso audio is always more immersive than video imo. Watch a movie with just the picture no sound and then watch the same movie again with sound and no picture. BIG difference…BOOM

This is a great way to put it, “like having a soundbar”, because all the separates are so close, I feel it. Actually did move them and while I don’t like the bass response better, the channels I did not like so close outside of music, when watching a movie, I found it harder to distinguish the distance.

I had a burnt in plasma for years too . If it didn’t die on me , I probably would’ve kept it for a few more years. Once you do make the upgrade , you’ll thank yourself for being patient . All the best

Im at about 8ft with my 77in s90c and am enjoying it. they say 6ft is the maximum picture quality without loss of detail at that size

Your room is similar to my room except my window is double the length it's a huge problem which is why i haven't owned an oled yet but considering for end of the year maybe s95d would solve the issue but coming from Sony x90J and not liking soap opera effect i have concerns of Samsung's motion. Also considering c4 and waiting for Sony news

What happens to Sony TVs? They stay being expensive. Like in my country the 77" A95L still cost over $7k! Despite it being released last year, though end of the year. I will go for the LG G4 or S95D from my 2020 CX

@fernm7379 Mine was getting a milky film & this video was washed out so I got it to normal by going: Tool>picture & sound> Picture>video signal> colour space= AUTO HDRmode=AUTO Hope this helps!! (Input streamer is Apple TV 4K)

@@AllAboutTKK yeah I messed up my Sony settings once and put the ATV in hdr instead of Dolby Vision and my shows got washed out really horribly milky & this started to spoil my enjoyment, same thing happened with this KZfaq video, can’t tell why but remembered the trick then I saw this question ^^^ Got my Apple TV back to normal thank goodness 😅 Still it’s a learning curve, my first premium tv Gotta lay a lotta love on the a95l…..

Magenta Whites. Sony will look Magenta due to them using a different white point from the factory. MLA / WRGB has impure whites compared to a QD OLED at D65. On your Sony A95 set Red to -2 and Blue to -5 and you’ll be close.

I love love my a95l! But i need a new gaming monitor/tv for my sim rscing rig. My cockpit has a stand for a tv to sit right behind the wheelbase whcih is like 2 feet from your face. Im trying to figure out what to get for that it will be purely for the rig and enthusiast level sim racing. The a95l im keeping as my house tv. But im like s95d? Or maybe something else? What about led? Since the pwm modulation isnt as intense msybe less eye strain? Some people feel it some dont but oled def gets to some peoples eyes/head more. Cant see the flickering or the pwm but its there and it strains me sometimes. But I just love oled so much. Any reccomendations? It will need to be 55inches also. 77 and 65 are to much for this stand and again its 2 feet from my face max.

Depending on where you are located if in the states, I’d be hitting the Best Buy stores, all those QN LED models are coming off store walls it seems from what I’m reading on Reddit and with killer deals. But if it’s OLED, I’d also go to the store and ask them to check clearance items too, a friend just got a 55” C2 for about $400 no joke, it was because it’s clearance and there was one in their city.

None with the tv but some with my receiver, adjusted and works fine. ABL is nothing out of the ordinary with being worst.

I have and it's brutal. Sometimes no audio at all. The picture on the A95L is stunning but the audio issues drive me crazy. Basically, anything I run through the eARC cable is prone to audio issues. Its strange because it doesn't always happen, it's completely random. It is SO frustrating! I've tried everything and I'm ready to ditch the TV because of it.

I am so jealous of the people who can afford these TV. This is my dream TV and I only have an LG 65" C7 which I bought 6 years ago. I hate my situation and I really envy people who can buy these TV's especially every 2-3 years. Ugh.

Quality over size though: I’m at the peak of TVs 2 decades running now every year, it becomes more about picking the right panel not just the largest size.

I. Hope you are aware that the standard is about to change to 4000nits so I would hold back until you see the new mini led from sony which will be shown on the 17 April all current tv will become obsolete pretty quickly as the studios have all recieve 4000nìs mastering monitor even gaming will change so I would hold back until you test the new mini led.

I am open to it. I hear contrast is very close to OLED with incredible shadow detail and picture depth that oled can't reproduce, unfortunately. Same backlight driver used in new reference monitor as well, not your regular led backlight.

The A95L had a good run but it’s time to pass the crown. Will the G4 be king for more than a year? Probably not. But imo, it is for now. When are we going to so this “pholed” I’ve been hearing about? Or Qdel? Anyone have any info on this?
