Camping for 8 weeks in the prairies in Vermilion AB while going to school. Set up my ice fishing tent with the wood stove, cheating with some electricity, but will be a good adventure!

This video was great. I eat my dinner and watch Camping With Steve. Currently I'm camping in my living room using my bedroom as a storage place until I get the place painted and organized. So I camp in the living room. Thankful to be living in a trailer. For a number of years I was stealth camping too because I had to. A single man has a world of opportunities. Just camp in your car, don't worry about where you are at now. Stack your money and transition to something better. Decided to check out your older videos Steve. It's cool to see where you started.

Thanks so much Steve for your videos. I appreciate all the effort you put into bringing us along on your travels. It really is a spiritual quest. It’s so easy to forgot to appreciate what we have when life is full of conveniences. When it’s stripped away and all you have is your intuition and drive, it allows you to enjoy the little things like a $1.00 box of Mac and Cheese and a steak cooked on a log. Props to you Steve from a soon to be truck bed camper outside of Detroit!

A good way to help retain more heat in your tent with your stove. Get a flexible metal pipe, 2-4 inches, or at least all metal close to stove, find a way to connect the hose or pipe to the holes on your stove door, you can make it removable and cheap. Then run it under your tent or out a low hole you make, lower then the stove intake vents. Just make sure always clear on outside. They might make connectors or fabricate yourself. Pull air in from outside to feed fire, instead of pulling cold air into tent then getting sucked into fire. You will notice a big difference. A friend of mine did it to his cabin, and I've seen people do it in campers and tents.
