I’ve been enjoying oysters and mussels lately! Mainly the smoked and canned variety. So rich in zinc, etc! Also have been enjoying goat cheeses and goat kefir. Could you do a video on how to get in more fiber but keeping things low GI/ impact on blood sugar? Other than vegetables, etc. needing to increase soluble fiber, etc. and find it difficult with lower carb eating.

Hi autumn, what do you think about making black rice and instead of using water boiling it in bone broth?

I add ground flax, pumpkin, chia, hemp, walnuts to almond muffin / pancakes, would you consider this good practice? And I'm definitely in line for your whey too, soon.

I come from Greece, halloumi originates in Cyprus, but it's also consumed a lot where I live, and I've always felt it tastes better when grilled. All sorts of seafood is high in protein, to be fair, though it can be a bit expensive. As for chickpeas, dear Autumn you can always make your own hummus apart from the recipe you already mentioned :). Cheers.

Hi Laurie! Unsweetened almond or coconut milk are both great options! I wouldn't recommend oat milk due to its high starch content. I have a super quick and easy video tutorial on how to make your own coconut milk that you can check out here: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/fceclNp2s73RfGQ.htmlsi=dwHnnZckugt5nwwX

Honestly, it’s super easy and not expensive to make your own bone broth if you have an instant pot or similar type of pressure cooker. And it really doesn’t take that crazy long. Just get some beef bones from a quality organic butcher, they don’t cost much. First roast the bones in the oven for a little bit. Then put the bones in the pressure cooker with a chopped up onion, carrot, celery, a bay leaf and any herbs you like, add a bit of salt and a splash of apple cider vinegar and fill up wit water. And pressure cook for 4 hrs or so. You’ll get the most delicious bone broth with a thick layer of collagen (it will firm up once it cools down). You can make several batches with the same bones. Then just put whatever you don’t use straight away in the freezer!

How does kefir have protein ? Wouldn’t it be the same as a glass of milk I’m so confused haha

The American Heart Association says you should substitute low fat milk and add canola oil, instead of drinking whole milk. You can find that under Healthy Substitutions on their website. They have been around for 100 years, and they wouldn’t lie. 100 years! 🎉

I can't tell if you're being facetious or not, but American groups like diabetes and heart association most certainly do lie. They also change guidelines like the weather based on studies funded by sugar industry. Check it out.

I have never understood why anyone thinks nutritional yeast tastes cheesy. It tastes like literal fish food you buy from the pet store to feed fish in your aquarium and always has to me and Idk why lol.
@hollydaugherty2620
@hollydaugherty2620 26 күн бұрын
Literally? So you've eaten fish food? It doesn't. That's why it's popular.
