The Passion is about feeling a sliver of the depth of love that God felt for us that he gave his only begotten son so that we could be forgiven for our sinful nature, changed, reborn into a life with Christ in the driver's seat. so we could see how much God loves us. It is NOT about blaming anyone for killing Him.

Denominations ( religion) will send many to hell actually....because religion is man made ( the traditions of men) the bible calls it.....we are saved by GRACE ( MERCY) through Faith ( Believing the gospel , what Jesus did for us on the cross, his death burial and resurrection) 1 Corinthians 15: 1- 4 ....is the gospel that saves.....nothing to do with religion, but Faith in Jesus Christ, and that he paid formour sins, because we needed a Savior.....as we cannot save ourselves! Hosmperfect, sinless blood shed for our sins, saves us! The blood atonement for our sins! We get our righteousness through that blood.....without it, we cannot be righteous, as we are sinners....Jesus never sinned!

In the Bible Jesus clearly says "You must be 'born again'.....John 3:3 & 5. He also said "Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand" Mt.3:2, 4:17. He also said "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life" Jn 3:16. and "....unless you repent you will perish" Luke 13:3 & 5 AND as far as someone else's spiritual condition, in Mt. 7:20 He told us "you will know them by their fruits" It would be good for us to remember the Great Commission . . . . and judge our own hearts, and pray for those you have questions about ! Ask yourself ' If God asks me "Why should I let you into heaven ?" on judgement day.................what is your answer ? Then prove to yourself IF you are on the right spirit !

Of course not. we travel in different circles I think! I know both by the things they say and things they do. In hollywood it is dangerous to say the things they do. Both have been on Christian TV and baldwin is active in churches and seminars that are Christlike. Truth is you can only see by their walk but many have no visible walk. Jesus knows and thats all that matters. The rest is my opinion and observation!

Wow, I didn't know these about a few of them, but I am reminded of the Bible Verse "By their fruits you shall know them." That said, I do believe that Jim Caviezel (as much as I know of him) should be on this list (for what it's worth), and a few others, perhaps (because there is always hope that a self-professed Christian would be a true born-again Christian) should make way for others.

I saw a video where Denzel said he gets on his knees and asks "the spirits" for help with his acting. He was referring to a scene where he portrayed a slave who was being whipped.(name of the movie escapes me right now). He said he would never have been able to have done that scene without their. help. If he was truely a Christiain, he would have said he asked for Gods help, not the "spirits"help.

Going to church, praying, reading the Bible and belonging to a denomination does not make a person a Christian. Genuinely accepting Jesus Christ as a personal savior is the only thing that counts. Probably none of these people is genuine (But I'd be glad to be proven wrong on that)!

We ALL fall short of the glory of God. Now whose the judge of that God now let his past be. Until you'll hear from the horses mouth, and he did say he apologized to the Jews that's all that should matter. Now let it go, and just keep him in prayer, all the bashing and negative talk about him is not called for right? it's all good being Christian, but I'd be careful following doctrines. It's better to get involved with prayer for understanding the Bible then to follow humans and their ideology of how the Bible is interpreted. There are many wolves in sheep's clothing, false prophets of all religions. If and when you follow Christ with the deep desire to understand the word of a God then rely on him to guide you. When you read and find it hard to understand at each passage, just take it as the story tells and move on. Later, you may come across more into it that strikes a memory of past reading that you recall and the codes come together. Keep in mind, sometimes things you are not ready to understand won't manifest until you are ready. While other manifestations are reveled that you need in your life at time. Not all things get revealed until the timing is ready. Like, Revelations, for example. Going to church is good for the gathering the social alike, just remember if the pastor peaks more about prosperity then sin, keep looking for the teacher. Just because a preacher, pastor, etc says it's what the Bible teaches, doesn't mean it true. God reveals what you need when you need it.

Brother, Have You not sinned after accepting Christ? While we are still sinners Christ died for us. We are saved by His Grace because He loved us first. We don't earn salvation for not sinning but we don't sin because we are His Children and being transformed like Him. Proverbs 24: 16 "For a righteous man may fall seven times And rise again, But the wicked shall fall by calamity". How can a fallen man be righteous? Because our righteousness is in Him. We are righteous because He is righteous. We are sinless because He is holy. We live because He lives. Once we are His Children we are His Children for ever. Some children may be weak but that doesn't mean they are not Christian. We all are growing in the Lord.

Agreed 100%. Mel Gibson has been a strong catholic believer most of his life. "CATHOLIC" .... not = Christian. For the people out there that do not believe there is a difference between these relegions; I urge you to open your bible and read scriptures. Catholothisim is a cult. This goes for all other religions such as Muslims, Jews, 7 Day Advents, Jehovah Witnesses, Mormons, and even Protestant Reformation Churches who don't have their beliefs correct on the gospel on how to be saved! It's about believing on Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior with faith alone and not of works. I came back to add that one must believe in the virgin birth, the death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior... who will in fact be that if people would in fact get saved.

New Tuber the Bible says that faith without works is dead. I assume you are referring to works as in those who believe works will get them into Heaven, but it's important to clarify. If we have the faith to believe that Jesus is the pathway to salvation, we must 'act' on that faith, by confessing it and asking Him into our hearts.

Gibson is a Sedevacantist, which means he believes any Pope from the Second Vatican Council onward is illegitimate. Catholics do not worship Mary, they venerate (respect) her as they do other saints who live Christian lives, as a model of human behaviour, not a demi-god.

After knowing God in Jesus Christ 33 years and leading many to His truth and teaching His word, this is very encouraging to see the rich people in this video who can handle the stewardship of Gods call instead of idolatry with the love of money. They can put God first but many of the rich have much trouble with their self Glory and walk in the darkness of Satan and the lie he tempted Jesus with in Mathew 4. Love is tyhe fullness of God and His Spirit must use us and love through us.

The first thing Martin Sheen asked when he came in and registered at my mom's motel was "can you please tell me where the Catholic Church is?" He then talked a bit about how important his religion is to him. He told her that Emilio and he always went to mass on Sunday mornings. My mother told them it would be in Ojai, a tourist town in California, and gave them directions. They, meaning Martin, Emilio, and the spoiled brat Charlie, stayed in the suite at the motel over several days. Martin and Emilio were gentlemen, and interacted with everyone as if they were all old friends... Martin hung out a lot with my mom's husband, Jim. Jim and Martin were the same age, and almost looked like twins in their jeans and T-shirts. They even wore their dark hair the same. The resemblance was uncanny. Charlie never showed his face during the day. He partied hard into the night at the local bars, and then crashed all day. Unlike Emilio and Martin, he wasn't nice... He was an embarrassment to Martin and Emilio.
