Happy new year! My wife and I are moving to Wroclaw (where she grew up) from San Francisco. It is a wonderful place and as an American who is a little nervous about living in Poland for the first time, your channel has been (and will continue to be) very informative and entertaining. Hope your work gets better!

Wrocław is a wonderful place! If I had to move to another city in Poland this would be my first choice, every time I go there is a new experience and I can spend hours just hunting down Dwarves 😅 I hope you really enjoy it there! Thank you for the sentiments and wishes 😊

14.25 Yes, your health, it probably does not help having the long cold winters when you do not want to go for long walks in the evening and Polish food can be stodgy. The Poles eat a lot of potatoes and meat and they are very partial to cake! Beer also has a lot of sugar content, I have been told that red wine is the better alcohol to choose from-avoid beer and white wine. There is obviously a lot of temptation as Polish beer is good, strong, and cheap! If you had your own family, you would spend more time at home but as you spend a lot of your time socializing, people gather in bars, clubs, and restaurants, which probably means buying rounds and more binging!

Luckily for me I don’t mind the Polish cold so much, we still do our hikes through the snow 😛 Food wise I try to cook healthily which helps, the danger is when I get lazy and feel the need for takeout 😅 It’s hard to avoid beer, I moved to cocktails for a time but it was not cheap 😂 and I’m not sure I can be a red wine in the bar kind of person though I tend to drink it when seeing friends at a flat! Key thing I need to incorporate now is more regular exercise, I think that’s the main thing to improve now 😊

Happy New Year. Enjoy your life here and focus on your health. Without health planning is going to be futile. Believe me, I didn't take much care of my spine and walking is difficult now. And there's no travel without walking.

Szczesliwego Nowego Roku, to co robisz jest interesujace i rozwijajace wiec mysle ze dobrze to kontynuowac, Wyglada tez na to ze koniecznie powinienes znalezc inna prace, bo w obecnej sie nie czujesz dobrze. Happy new year! I have indeed been to Szczecin…it’s one of those videos I keep meaning to make…but I feel I need to go back and see the national museums that were closed on my last visit! I need to get back to this area, not sure if I’ll make it in 2024 but will try and fit it in so I can see more of the area! Though I have been to Stargard, Wolin, Kołobrzeg and Koszalin so far and made videos for those places 😁

Tez bylem we Szczecinie mniej wiecej trzydziesci lat temu. Ja pojechalem samochodem z Anglii ku Polsce i spedzilem kilka nocy w mieszkaniu we Swinoujsciu. Bylo lato, cieplo i bardzo fajne. Pojechalem w te strone bo poznalem mila kobiete-wszystko bylo w porzadku ale niestety ona juz miala synku ale gorszego bachora nie spotkalem! Mam piekne wspomienia tego okresu, odwiedzilismy moim samochodem Wolin-malo o tym pamietam teraz ale pamietam czysta wode w Miedzydrojach.

@@kalinkamyloveI am a profesional language teacher and my lessons cost 30-35 Euro up to 50 for specific classes per hour here in Germany. I wouldn’t know if someone could possibly be living from 13 Pounds an hour?

@@nanasabia Poland is a much cheaper country to live in than Germany. Having said that, I would never pay 50 euros an hour for a language lesson.
