Yes, when I saw the price it sounded a bit high, but for sure it’s actually quite reasonable when you think about how much it would cost to go to a theme park in the U.K. only extra hidden cost was for the lockers, but that was like 14zl for the whole day which again isn’t so bad and only 1zl for the map, felt like a bargain! I appreciate that you decided to go there - not so many Poles are aware of the importance of Puławy for our history and culture. The trouble with all this is the question 'do you always want to be a foreigner in Poland?' This is what the expats in Spain on the Costa Blanca do, eat fish and chips together, play bingo and have karaoke evenings. Personally, I would rather speak Polish in Poland with my new found Polish family, otherwise return to good old Blighty. It is all a bit like the French Foreign Legion without the blue uniform!

You are setting a good example for expats. Do you think it is possible to make friends in Eastern Europe without alcohol? I just read on a forum where some expats mentioned that whenever people get together, alcohol is always involved, which kind of made socializing difficult for them. On the other hand, it's a bit sad that we (I am an Eastern European too) need alcohol to socialize.
@britinpoland23923 ай бұрын
I’d say alcohol helps but there are plenty of events out there where it isn’t w focus, I would look for organised hikes or board game nights for example, or even language exchanges, there are plenty of people I know who don’t drink or don’t enjoy drinking a lot, so there’s always an option out there 😊
