Это коленвал, но видел как кардан укорачивали и варили на Roadkill, ЧСХ он у них естественно лопнул и сломал коробку. Но Roadkill в сравнении с пакистанцами это верх технологий.

I Dont understand the reason for the pin connecting the two shafts other than allignment but you can do tha another way, cuz before all that area of the shaft was fused all the way from inside to out, but now with that pin and only welding over on top of that is only making a ring of contact between the two shafts which has to at least make it 25% weaker than what it was originally, the only good for that pin is sideways bending force as it will be locked in there as if it was a solid shaft but for rotation, its only a ring of contact and not even that thick and that pin isnt gonna help with the reducing any turning stress from that weld ring.

Plasma cutting, then welding and turning. Even if you hit this shaft with a sledgehammer, it will not break

Clearly you have never used a plasma cutter to cut a thick solid shaft just as you failed to see the heat discoloration on the crank / big end. This was gut using an oxy / gas cutter and the discoloration is due to the large amount of pre-heat needed before cutting can commence.

@@TheNewerman The "value" of the work relates to IF it would even work in the first place and then what its life expectancy is. Remember this IS NOT a "broken" crankshaft but one that has been deliberately cut up using an oxy-gas cutting torch.
