The freezers are more efficient running on 220 volts and will last longer than 110 volt freezer

True is a great.. I have four refrigerators that are true and but I didn’t ever have those big ones freezers. I have one big freezer that was for ice cream because I had an ice cream shop for 21 years so that one was a special plug but yes, I sold all of them from my old business except I kept two free refrigerators 110 because we we use refrigerators for stuff around here.

It's really not that big a deal, Andrea. I live with generations of electricians. If you have space in your breaker box, the freezers will have to be wired into a larger breaker and then change the plug type. If we weren't hours away, I'd send a son over to fix it up for you. It shouldn't be a super hassle or expense. Just be careful who you hire for the work. Everyone needs an electrician in their back pocket for these times.

Thanks for sharing that you guys choose to vaccinate for Blackleg. We're run a small family farm in Virginia using regenerative practices, and since COVID, we've had so many more questions about vaccines. We discuss how we're antibiotic (unless needed) and hormone free, but clostridium vaccine is unfortunately a necessity (and explaining how it's not a mRNA vaccine). It's the only one we use as well (7-way). Also hadn't considered getting hay tested. We're going to look into that and thanks for sharing! Excited to find your channel!

We’ve had cows successfully raise twins and others we had to bottle feed. Always looked on it as a bonus. However, we only had 50 brood cows. Keep up the good work. Merry Christmas to you and your family.

Ive lived on a cattle ranch most of my life, im now 50. We ran 200 to 500 cows at a time. We fed cake and very little hay, even in the winter. Very little to no waist with feeding cake but hay was probably 30% waist.

Almost always in a case of twin calves where you have a heifer and a bull, the heifer is a free martin and will not breed.

Andrea, Miracle's calf is precious. Could you maybe do a day out in front of your place with signs to help sell the soaps, face tallow, and honey like you did several weeks back (just a thought). All the stuff you made for market, along with your merchandise will make great gifts. FYI, I know the shipping (less expensive shipping) with USPS won't gaurantee delivery by Christmas as of today's date (December 16, 2023) based on the post office notification. I found this out today when at the post office shipping packages. It was also noted on the national news this evening.
