A good counter melody, or counterpoint, can be as important to a song as the melody and lyrics! But how do we approach creating one for our choral arrangements? In this video we look at some tips for making counter melodies that are effective, memorable and support the main tune!

This REALLY helps with a piece that I am considering arranging. Thank you for the historic perspective and for breaking things down in "bite-size" elements. PS: Subscription statistics are nice but non-statistical data (eg. teaching impact, number of lives touched with quality musical foundations that you assisted in creating, etc) may never be measured and are just as meaningful (if not more!). if you notice when he talks he always lands his most important keywords at a full head tilt left then full tilt right.. this is where u focus when his head lands at a full right or left tilt lol
