Red Velvet Cheesecake
This dessert is a combination of two popular cake; Red Velvet cake and Cheesecake. Red Velvet cake has a distinct red color. It has buttermilk, vanilla and cocoa powder. The Cheesecake has a rich, smooth texture and tangy flavor.
To make this amazing cake; first you need to bake the red velvet cake layer. Then you will need to make the cheesecake filling. Slice the red velvet cake and place the cheesecake in the middle. And then frost the cake with cream cheese frosting or simply make a whipped cream frosting.
Cheesecake:
450g cream cheese, softened at room temperature
1 cup white sugar
2 eggs
1 cup all purpose cream
1 tsp vanilla essence
1/8 tsp salt
2 tbsp all purpose flour
Red Velvet Cake:
2 cups all purpose flour
1 1/2 tsp baking soda
1 tbsp cocoa powder, unsweetened
pinch of salt
3/4 cup white sugar
1 cup evaporated milk
1 tbsp white vinegar
2 eggs
1 cup cooking oil
1/2 tbsp vanilla essence
1 tbsp red food color
Frosting:
1 cup whipping cream
