I come for the outdoors footage, but stay for the appreciation of latch-metal patina and quality herringbone fabric. Edit: I used to meditate twice a day, just to clear the old noggin. After the monologue about the Buddhist place, I'm going to try and start again. Thanks for the kick to get back into it. I hope others are inspired to try it, or try and get back into it.

I love your channel for the camping, your hilarious sense of humour, the gorgeous countryside, your awesome rhino wrestling stories and I am more than happy for you share (over or otherwise) your thoughts and feelings on life at its worst and best. Every little bit of help to get my head straight, clear and happy is more than welcome. Although you make me hyperventilate every time you take a dip as I live in Australia and that water looks unimaginably cold 💜💜🇦🇺

I just bought the Big Agnes Copper Spur 2-person. It's plenty of room for me and my gear. Mine came with a small hole in the mesh. I contacted Big Agnes, asking for some mesh repair tape, so I didn't have to send it in. They told me to take it to REI, where I bought it. I ordered the tent online, so I'd either have to take a long drive, or mail it in, both costing me time and money. This is a manufacturing defect from Big Agnes. REI just sold the tent (it was still factory new). So much for the vaunted Big Agnes customer service. I repaired the hole with some ripstop tape that I already had. Not as nice looking as mesh tape, but it will do.

I think you may underestimate your audience Haze. If I want to just see someone camp or see what gear someone suggests, there is a ton of channels that do the Top 5 Best Tents and so on. I don't think most people (or myself anyway) comes to watch your videos because of your slick camera work, tight dialogue and overall polished presentations. It's because you do keep it real and don't buy into the need for perfect lighting and camera angles but you add something that makes you videos compelling in other ways. I would say the same thing about Shug in the States. Keep it up.

Only half way through and I'm loving this new content. I've watched a lot of your stuff from years ago, and you have, like all of us, been looking for peace in our minds. I've been struggling for the last 18 months to sleep, and I've never ever had that problem, but it is always things going around in my head, not always stressful stuff, but stuff. So maybe this will be what I need, and hopefully something others need and take in. Life is hectic, but that's why we love the time outdoors, to reset and get back to how we should live life.

Loved this. Love listening to your banter - even on your own. We are huge fans of North Yorkshire and the people. You’re a breath of fresh air. From a grandmother who knows her stuff, the mindfulness is good but don’t get too inward. When you are out in the wild have you tried talking to your creator? He’s the best one for a peaceful mind. He is ALWAYS listening and is the best companion. I wish you well. Don’t drink too much. 🙄

Interesting about the squeaking Atmos. I walked the Routeburn track in New Zealand with my son about three years ago. we both had Atmos packs. He had the latest version, no problem. Mine drove me dingbats and was annoying not just to me but to those around me. The local retailer contacted the Australian distributor, I having been told by the NZ agent that this was not a fault. I am now a proud owner of a the latest version of a non squeaking Atmos. Great service from Osprey Australia, Torpedo 7 and the Osprey Almighty Guarantee. These are truely great packs.

The biggest reason I even started watching your channel was the ,"show us your steak challenge".. and whether men want to admit it or not... we all suffer from mental health issues, in some way shape or form.. well I've never participated in much Buddhist rituals.. I have been involved in martial arts for most of my life and they all share the same concept of meditation. blocking out external stimulus and focusing on your breathing your heartbeat and clearing your mind. I tend to enjoy rainstorm ASMR or waterfalls.. my ultimate favorite is bow hunting in the Northern woods of Michigan.. listening to the leaves rustling in the wind. Watching squirrels and birds go about their day.. I probably hunt 15 or 20 times before I even get a deer. And if I get one my first day I still go 15 or 20 times after that.. I usually set for 3-4 hours in the morning 3 4 hours at night.. gives you a lot of time to think but it's also nice to just shut down everything in your head and become part of the woods! Of course until you decide to harvest a deer then it's pure adrenaline and your heart's beating out of your chest!! But I'm fortunate enough to hunt in a place where I can watch deer for hours before I decide to harvest one! 🍻🍻🍻👍👍
